    I was there for a weekend while it was still part of East Germany. I visited that church for example. It was an overgrown field with a few large blocks visible and a chain link fence around it. It is amazing how much they have managed to rebuild in thirty some years

      @@woarryrinraw before reunification when East Germany or DDR and West Germany or BRD were two different countries

    Just been there with my wife and my parents. Lovely place, easily in my top 3 places to visit in Germany. We love Dresden!

    I'm leaving in Dresden for almost 5 years and I can tell you guys, that Dresden is the most liveable city in Germany in my opinion, especially for student.

    Student live is best of all the time! Being student everyone enjoy alot. Class, bar, sport, biking, chilling witb friends, almost everything is enjoyable!

    Thanks. Been visiting Dresden from the UK for the last 10 years over Christmas and honestly didn't know about the Codex at the university library. Will have to see this next time.

    I always wanted to see Dresden as I heard they rebuilt some of it. While very nice, it’s just a few buildings.

      The whole point is to attract international candidates. Showing that Dresden is open to other languages and cultures is part of that.
