Bro I’ve died so many times at the end of this mission I can’t pass the last battle with the lizard the furthest I can get is about half way when Pete says idk how much longer I can do this and then he totally annihilates me every time I got so fed up I stopped and took a break for a bit but this video might be of help to me so thank you bro cuz I been trying to dodge everything but it looks like parrying is the way to go
Doing both jumping and dodging allows you to get through the whole fight without parrying. I think that’s significantly easier because you don’t need to know if it’s the crushing attack or the parry when you hear the audio cue for them. Jumping will allow you to dodge both. Parrying can allow you to be more aggressive and deal damage faster but in the third stage I don’t think it benefits you that much to parry because it doesn’t interrupt his combos. It just looks and feels cool to pull off.
Bro I just tried to beat him again after watching this and figure out how to dodge and parry against his moves better and beat him 3rd try almost not getting hit at all thank you bro!! Keep making these vids man ik it wasn’t necessarily for help but it most definitely did dat you’re awesome bro keep up the the good work 💯
Awesome ggs dude! The 3rd phase really is nasty with the dodge and parry mixups after his attacks. One of the bites comes out really fast after his combo strings and is borderline impossible to avoid first couple times seeing it. Thank you so much for the compliments, hope to have all bosses done in this way by the end of this week!
I feel like jumping is the easiest way to deal with the parry/crush mix ups but you feel so much more bad ass fighting on the ground the whole time. I can pretty much do what you do, just not as consistently. I have a good feel for the lizards move set but it’s hard to not fuck up and anticipate the wrong move sometimes.
Yeah that’s a great tip! I need to jump more on speedruns on phase 3 just to eliminate the mixup. One of the crush attacks comes out faster than the other and always messes me up. It is more beneficial for meter gain to stay grounded especially when paired up with the buffs on parry but that doesn’t matter if you are dead haha.
question... after Parry how u doin leg kick ? when im playing this mission yesterday after perfect parry next move is up fist. Is issue difficulty level ?
Hmm every time first few months of release it was a kick after a perfect parry. It is possible they changed animation or rebalanced it since my all boss videos were done before they added NG+ and might have tweaked some things. I’ll try to check this week and let you know!
Hi , Just replay boss fight with Wraith, and i do leg kick after parry. Its Just Square button but after 'full animation' enemy push back. Slow Press button and work
Lol Lizard is really nasty in this with his unblockable attacks. One of his patterns is stupidly fast so don’t feel bad since this (and the others here th-cam.com/video/OrIPBsSZ6dI/w-d-xo.html) took a long time to get down properly. Good luck on the rest of ultimate!!
Once you complete the game Ultimate mode unlocks. You have to start a new game after since NG+ isn’t out yet which is kind of rough so none of your upgrades carry over for now
