If under the international Refugee Convention we have to provide basic necessities then this should be in detention camps. Keep them there until their claims are processed. If they fail then at least we don't then need to scour the country in order to deport them. It may seem harsh but allowing large groups of foreign young men to roam around all day until they are allowed back into their hotel accommodation is not working for my local seaside town.

Perhaps Ireland should have a word with France and ask them not to send their 'problem' to the UK then we would not have such a huge migrant problem here. Every European country is having a problem with migrants as they are overwhelming local populations and cost billions. But it is totally unfair for Europe to use the UK as a dumping ground. EU in particular should do something about its southern borders and stop the boats etc. coming in there.

Because Ireland hands out citizenship like goody bags at a child's party, many of these migrants will probably end up getting an Irish passport, and then use the C.T.A. to move to Britain. You could almost write the script yourself, on how these situations pan out. Ireland is a soft touch when it comes to inward migration, because the government are inept in dealing with it. The Algerian national who stabbed children in Dublin last November, was listed for deportation, and ended up being granted Irish citizenship. What do you think about that my friends! 🤫

The responsibility lies with certain Irish MPs who, by aligning closely with the EU and advocating for an open border policy, have inadvertently placed their nation in jeopardy. This issue has existed for years. Abuse of the common travel area between the UK and the Republic Of Ireland. Suddenly with local, European and possibly a general election coming up, added to a historic referendum defeat, the government and so called opposition in the Republic Of Ireland are finally drawing attention to this issue. This is one tjat the UK and the Republic Of Ireland could work on together. The treaty of Amsterdam recognizes the common travel are, but the EU has no jurisdiction there. Perhaps some basic passport checks and some visible policing could identify no UK and ROI citizens abusing the common travel area to which only affords rights and entitlements to UK and ROI citizens.

Beginning overtly in our case in 2016 with the process that's led ineluctably to the only nominal, abysmally badly negotiated and very delayed non-Brexit we got after no attempt to deliver real departure from the loathsome EU central institution's control was ever made. Nor is only our 'NOT-a-real-Tory-Party-anyway' solely responsible. It is just ONE minor facet of a far broader problem. The terminal democratic deficit applicable to the entire West in an era when a huge parasitic and innately state-paternalist collective establishment elite infests ALL civil society institutions in every Western polity.
