I love that you’re putting out one last record because Keaton, and what he writes, and the way he sings is so unique and powerful no one would capture the essence of the band like he could. Of course both of you also made the band what it was as well. The catchy guitar and drums, and even obviously what Thomas and Travis brought to the band back in the day. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. I know it certainly has helped me, and continues to help me through life. I love you all so much, and I’m so blessed to have gotten to watch you perform as many times as I did. They’re nights I’ll never forget.

I really don’t want to be ungrateful because this last album is a blessing… but without filling his shoes with someone else, why not make a small tour or even a unique tribute concert with all his singer friends singing a song of the band while you play the instruments one last time ? A tribute event like Chester had when he passed…
I still remember when I found out about this band back in 2015 and were completely amazed of the unique sound of the collective. I still think to this day that this band havn't created a single bad song. I were pretty devastated when I heard what had happened to Keaton, absolutely crushed about that we wont hear his pure voice on new songs anymore. Insanely grateful for the band that new record is out soon and we get to hear the sweetest voice that scene can provide. Human may pass but music lives forever.

I feel a lot of bands are okay with just continuing after a member passes or leaves and I really dislike that because they aren't the same band to me anymore. I got to meet you dudes back in 2016 on Warped Tour in Michigan, Nerve Endings was one of my favorite albums in high school and I'm still glad I got to hear it live. Losing Keaton is a devestating loss as a fan so I can't even imagine how hard it has to be for Mason, Kenny, and others who knew him directly. Thank you for the music, memories, and the strength to put out this one last album.
Just like No Use For A Name didn't want to do it without Tony, nor The Cranberries without Dolores, nor Snot without Lynn (at first), Hellyeah finished all touring commitments regarding their final record with Vinnie and Linkin Park has been quite inactive after doing a memorial show for Chester, i respect Too Close's decision to finish on their own terms. I, however, do hope a memorial show celebrating the life of Keaton.
Very sad... I really hope this isn't the end of both of your music journeys. Hopefully what your saying is no more from this band but could start a new band if you feel inspired in the future.
