this is a band that's not even close to being done. This song is wonderful, and the video is trippy. Can't wait to hear the full album / companion to The Hypnogogue, which was the best album of 2023.
Glad this album is making it to the masses! I was lucky to be able to pick it up last October at the Arizona show. This is my favorite track, especially the full version.
From someone a few years younger than Steve Kilbey and a big fan from back then/when, it's just fabulous to see The Church with a new album. It's not like some bands from the 80s rehashing their old material for a buck, it's clear that the integrity of creating and performing new music is still as important as ever (not that there's anything wrong with trying to make a living as a musician...). I'm hoping to catch them if they come through New Zealand again. Everything I've heard so far is at least as good as anything from those old albums, the world moves on, right?! ...and in interviews Steve is just as difficult and wonderful as always. I've never met him but he's always seemed like a long-lost brother.
the best at this, and we know, so much more, without the constraints the 'others' always place on us as well as their selves, shelfs, spreckle on self aggrandizing feldtz.>>>>
In love with the rythym of my algorithmic patterns which will suggest music like this to me.. one of the most snotty stuck up thoughts regarding my selective tastes and preferences. Thank you so much Tiare ' for the artistry you align with and don't.
Been a church fan from the beginning . Seen them last year . They were top shit . Seen them at the basement years ago . Wasn't impressed they did entire acoustic set . Played about one song I new . Steve Kilbey raved on all through the show about how cool drugs were . Saw them with the divinyls at there last ever show before Chrissie died . They played about one song I new . Saw Steve at the David Bowie tribute concert . He was the stand out . Still a fan til this day . The band are still making great music . I agree the church and Steve are not done yet . Read a while back about Steve's story about his drug days . Good on ya mate for giving up the shit that drugs are . Well done mate. Sydney Australia 🦘🦘🦘 11/2/2024😮

Steve's voice is like a fine wine 🍷
Excellent song and visuals! You never disappoint! 🎶🏆💯🎶
This radio edit works just as well as the epic 9.34 version. Salivating at the thought of the full length version live in concert.

KOOL!
🚬😎 awesome
Thanks for this and all the great work Kilbey, Koppes and friends
No Koppes in the current line up, sorry :(
@@sirenbrian I'm sorry to hear that Brian. Maybe it's a law of thermodynamics that all band line-ups must disintegrate in the end.

This would have worked on E4 music back in the day. Typical problem its trying to be old dad, isn't old enough. > It lies by nature.
