  • Bounty Hunter Gold Digger - amzn.to/2PTro1X
The Bounty Hunter Gold Digger comes assembled and should have the following 7 items in the box:
    Parts list is as follows:
    1. Detector Body
    2. Lower Stem
    3. Upper Stem
    4. Coil
    5. Coil Knobs x2
    6. Stem Attachment Knobs X2
    7. Headphones
    8. Manual
    Control and Readout:
    Power LVL - On/Off & Sensitivity Control
Trash Eliminator - Discrimination Control, in the off position this unit will give a single tone for all metals. In the on position this unit will give different tones for different metal types.
Earphones- Wearing earphones reduces the draw on the battery providing longer battery life plus they allow you to hear fainter signals from deeper weaker targets.
For the sake of this demonstration I will not be wearing headphones…this way you will be able to hear all the signals.
My Preferred Settings for Coin and Jewelry Hunting:
    · Sensitivity- Max sensitivity for the area you are in (DEMO this setting)
    · Discrimination- Set so as to knock out Iron and tones the way you like…
    DEMO:
    Iron Nail - Rejected
    Nickel - Low Tone
    Dime - High Tone
    Quarter - High Tone
Gold Ring (I’m always asked will this unit find gold. Let’s see for ourselves right now. So the answer is yes, if a gold ring is there, the Gold Digger will find it and when you find your first gold ring it could pay for your detector several times over.

I have the Bounty Hunter Challenger and this video works well for that model too, as the tones are identical! Thank you!

A video with the depth detection would be awesome. That would show how well the unit detects items, if it can.

That's the first detector I ever used. It is a great detector for beginners. I suggest using energized lithium 9v batteries, they last a long long time in this machine.
I don't have any detector at the moment since I lost a lot of things with my ex but plan on getting another detector. Good review.

I have a bounty gold digger it's my 3rd metal detector I was curious if the 10 inch DD COIL would be worth purchasing over the standard coil

Well explained . I have 2 and do all beach hunting , what settings do you recommend ? Is the coil water proof or just weather proof ?

    • @AmericanDetection
      @AmericanDetection  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hello Gary- On this unit the coil is weatherproof. For Beach hunting I suggest the same settings, if you get into the wet salty sand (damp sand not covered in water) you may have to drop the sensitivity a little bit as the minerals in the salty wet sand will cause the unit to act erratically. The Tracker IV has a waterproof coil if you are looking for a unit that has a submersible coil. link here: amzn.to/2Mby3lz

If you don't mind my asking, where is this amazing location that you are filming in where you are able to max out the sensitivity meter AND where the ground doesn't seem so mineralized which the GD can handle!!?? I am very curious.

ramon ortiz I know this is an old post but if I can help I’d just like to say that depending on if the soil has been altered in any way for instance soil has been added or taken away then no detector would find anything your best bet would be to find somewhere that hasn’t been altered since the civil war and as for the detector if you could find these ideals conditions then this detector will absolutely find anything and and is imho one of the best values in all of detecting and second to none for the price in recovery speed, target separation ,and unmasking and has various different nuances to the tones depending on the eliminator setting that with some practice can make target Id a breeze

ramon ortiz no problem I’ve used several detectors of different quality and technology and I want People to truly understand that even with the smallest budgets for this hobby can find great stuff and this really is an amazing detector just not super deep but it is pretty sensitive even to small stuff

Hello Lou- No this coil is only weather resistant. Look at my video on the Tracker IV I have links to that detector in the video and the price is actually lowe than the Fast Tracker right now.
