It always pays to check every Goodwill shelf, the very top and the very bottom, because you never know what you're going to find! Today I fell over my feet trying to get to this item and even looked around to see if there were any cameras on me.... lets go thrifting and find out what it is.

I'm really excited because not only am I allowed to bring in my reuseable shopping bags again, I also have permission to use my Thrifting Vegas blanket in my shopping cart to make sure my thrifted treasures dont get chipped or broken. Thrift with me for some unexpected treasures, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. I’ll be 71 in a week, and I’ve been thrifting things to use around the house. Murano ashtrays as soap dishes. Handmade Parian blue glass dishes for toast. Pottery dishes for shishito peppers. Boulicante seeded glasses for iced tea. Van Briggle cup to hold toothbrush and paste. A tiger oak sideboard for my glass bathroom sink… the sky’s the limit. Everyday beauty is affordable if I thrift it! Lol
You should try selling on Ebay. It helps to have a little extra income. I only allow myself to go shopping if I've sold something. I sell to enable my shopping habits!

@betty rue if money isn't an issue why not thrift shop for things you like? Age doesn't matter if the item makes you smile. I always wanted carnival glass when I was young but couldn't afford any. Now I can buy it really cheap at thrift stores at 65 and it makes me smile.
Regarding old pictures. A few weeks ago a gentleman contacted me via the internet. He found a baby picture oh my husband’s grandmother at a flea market. I sent him a donation and he sent 2 pictures-1 Grandma as a baby and another picture of her and her two siblings. Wow!

Tiffany, @ 14:22 the small wooden box with the birds and trees, looks like a purse us older ladies use to make. They were called Choo-Choo bags and we decoupaged or painted on them. I didn’t do very good on mine but some were beautiful.
I just found an authentic Roseville pottery console bowl/vase in the Dahlrose Daisy pattern...for TWO DOLLARS!

I have my mom's bookends, a bowl, and a vase like that. Different flower on them. My mom was 99 when she passed away in 2012.

Hi Tiffany, finding that Roseville piece was wonderful. I found a small single candelstick once and was happy about that but yours is nice and substantial. I’m not a cat person but that pitcher was adorable.

Oh I’ve missed you Tiffany. That fabulous Roseville planter or vase is fascinating. They don’t come along everyday and that gorgeous blue color-WOW! I really enjoy seeing Roseville, my Grandmother had one that was passed down to me, then my sister, then her grandson. It still beautiful even after all these years. I found it’s look-a-like for $80 on eBay a couple years ago. Memories are so delightful but I hope my grand nephew keeps it in the family.

Please do watch the Roseville, as it was reproduced in the late 1970's or 80's, especially those lighter colors. Most genuine antique Roseville is very dark colors and a matte finish. A finish like the old Hull, the pieces made before the factory burned in the 1940's. After the new factory built, Hull pieces were glossy, and brighter colors. I could listen to you always. I glean so much knowledge from your videos, living vicariously thru your videos. Have a great week. Looking forward to the next video.
Mine has a four foot section for holidays. Usually they have different shelves different holidays( Christmas,Halloween, 4th, Easter ect)

Goodwills in San Antonio appears to have a good stocks of Christmas items in January, February thur June. I could not find much of Christmas items during the Holiday Season. I visit several Goodwills and couldn’t find much of any Christmas holiday decorations. But now the shelves are overflowing. So, I’m picking up Christmas items now and putting away for the end of the year.

Hi Tiffany 🌹Rio is so Adorable. She is a big girl. She didn't like being at the Drs her ears🥺 But your precious kiddos was loving on her. Hope her transition to her Forever home is going good. I seen you pick and set down that angel wing. Those are really collectible. I will never stop displaying my family photos in frames. We sadly see people have thousands of pictures on their cell phones and never print them. What are future generations going to have? My daughter loves printing pictures out when there is good sales. Photo albums and pictures framed. We find lots of neat frames for cheap at sales. Hope it warms up some for a few days here too. We are in our hardest winter. We have some beautiful sunshine n 50s and 60s in between. But then it really turns on us. But that is one of our seasons and I look forward to each one. Can't wait for puppy updates. Bear is so Beautiful 💝 He will be having fun with Rio 🤞

i recently bought purple on purple $1.00 day i got 8 larger floral piece vases for $1 each. I make cemetary arrangements for family graves. I pick up the used ones and redo them too.
Amazing finds as usual. Goodwill in my area do sell Christmas all year long. I will pick up pieces if they are nice. Getting harder to find quality pieces and their prices keep going up.

My mother loved going to Aquariums. Sea horses and sea dragons were her favorites. She traveled a lot with my father and she swam with dolphins and stingrays. She even kissed a stingray. She loved it. I enjoyed your video and it brought back lots of memories going to the aquariums with my Mom.

I am from the Twin Cities in MN. The regular Goodwills do not have Christmas all year BUT you can find Christmas year round at the bins.

Wow! I have those same small stoneware/pottery Santa’s. I bought them over 20 years ago at an antique mall while traveling thru Shreveport, Louisiana. I only paid $1.99 each. 👍🏻
Most Goodwill stores in the Portland/Salem area in Oregon have a small Christmas section all year. During the holiday season it expands into a whole aisle.

Only 1 Goodwill in our area. The others are 35 miles or more away. They do keep a small section of Christmas out year-round. Thanks for the video.
North Carolina - GWs around me have some Christmas all year round but I think they also store some because near Christmas there is always a huge increase in floor inventory vs the rest of the year.
