Just be aware that I get hundreds of emails every week and I can't promise that I'll show what you send in.
The frustration is in both way. On a team, the Implacable doesn't spot at all for his mates ready to shoot, but the other, the Lexington keeps spotting but no ones shoot's at the Harugumo.
Not just the Lexington either. There were at least a few points where he only survived by the reds being incredibly incompetent before the carrier even began paying him real attention.
@BigLBA1 People dont want to shoot at DDs because its hard and its easier to loose and farm a bb
There're lots of mediocre players who just don't care about how to play well, either.
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account??
I was dumb forgot my password. I love any tricks you can give me
@Drew Franco instablaster ;)
Won't lie, I'm not a fan one bit of HE spamming ships, but a Harugumo with Second Wind, now that's a sight!
As soon as a harugumo get a kraken and has the unique captain. It basically turns all the 100mm guns into the same gun you get on the a-10, while firing HE
Its absolutely unbelieveable how fast it fires
Plus, any effect if he was running AR (which I think he was, that reload looked like ~1.5s when Second Wind popped). I'm disappointed we didn't get to see more dakka :(
After getting Kraken award and decreasing of Harugumo’s reload time, she was now firing more than 6000kg (13200 pounds) of HE shells in 1 minute. For comparison, american heavy cruisers IRL did only 3200kg/min. Let that sink in lolz
If you want to see some more UNLIMITED POWER from the Harugumo, The Sailing Robin uploaded quite some time ago a video called "Harugumemes" and witnessing a Montana being GAU'd down was just disgustingly satisfying.
"Let's not get *carried* away"
Jingles, please.
For that joke you get extra time in the salt mines...
*Shotgun cocks*
Came here just to say this
Ofc, ''carriers have much more important matters then bother with tiny destroyers''
Said a carrier player with enemy an destroyer 8km away xD
The Harugumo, with the right Capt. and flags, has been known to fire backwards in time, actually giving it a head start before for the battle begins.
pmsfl well said
Wait i have seen this somewhere

It is a japanese style cartoon

And the main character always had JOJO as their nickname

@@jaxusr235 indeed it is a bizzare adventure
People playing carriers like this, is what makes CVs balanced in the spreadsheets. He does absolutely nothing for his own team, he farms a top tier BB, giving him a decent amount of damage and XP but still pulling the CV avarage down. But no kills, no support, no spotting, no use to his team. So in the end, when you look at the spreadsheet, it looks balanced.
It's so dumb how great of an impact a good CV can make. This game is a great example.
Too many games determined right at the start with the flip of a coin. Since there are so many terrible CV players out there, you just have to hope you don't get them on your team.
Just saw this; everybody might be interested: th-cam.com/video/mWNgIfhfdOY/w-d-xo.html

Guess what Jingle’s favorite chips are?
It’s Pringles!! :D
Jingles, what are you doing with that double-barrel?
Maybe he should have some Pringles in the next Mingles with Jingles then he can Pringles with Jingles as we Mingles.....
He is not in the US, so Pringles are Crisps (I think), not chips. The answer to what chips he prefers would be McDonald's but that doesn't rhyme. :)
I'm watching this eating Pringles right now.

@@thedon9670 Not really, the Implac is the worst T8 CV. The matchup in the video is an extreme mismatch; Lexington might as well be a Tier 9 and Implac is the weakest Tier 8 CV.

Indomitable is the weakest T8 CV followed closely by Graf Zeppelin. Implacable is ok if player knows his strengths and weaknesses
@@rodrigogodoi4250 Disagree. Having played all three, both the GZ and the Indom actually offer something on the table. GZ has very fast plane speeds with mediocre armament, as well as meme tier secondaries. Indom has a speed gimmick that allows it to barely take any losses while making attacks and has extremely fast cycle times. Implac doesn't offer anything but disappointment.

Major mis-play in not capping C before going after the Frederick. That cost the battle.
Yep. What the Shima pulled in the closing minutes of the game wouldn't have worked if not for some severe no-cap-kill-all shit on that team. Not that the Implacable wasn't hopelessly useless too and a huge contributor.
I’m glad someone else saw that.
Haven't played this game in years and I could tell they would have won had they focused on caps at the end, instead of farming more damage.
if this harugumo player had enterd A immediately after killing the CV and going for more damage on the ships in B, they could've probably won this game
But that's still an aggressive play that at the time wouldve probably did more harm than good to harugumo-kun
No it was lost because the Implacable was a selfish idiot, who casually thrown his planes away, and is part of the problem. Idiot CVs that just randomly suicide by going towards the red were more useful than that Implacable.
@@somebody700 Unless the FDG and Takao killed one of the Yoshino or the NC, which was entirely possible if he was off capping A
jingles: there is no better matchup for a shimakaze.
me: actually jingles, what about all bb. I know that is not going to happen in random battles, but there is a video from flambass...
all bb teams in randoms, I have seen it happen. Jingles even uploaded one a few years back. It's quite hilarious.
@@EdHunter55 the other can be possible. I had a match where 90% were cruisers, not a single bb, and to make things worse.. it was a double CV.. the 2 DDs in our team were fucked up. almost all the enemies were radars...
It happened to me and my clan mate once. I was in the yamato and he was in the monty. Needles to say it was an epic battle.
It's hilarious that one of the smallest calibre guns in the game is one of the most reliable damage dealers. 100mm in reality would be ignored by pre-dreadnought battleships.
Its more the case of 30 or 37 mm penetration that brings the realization of how puny the guns are that brings the message home ;)
I've been doing Jingles for a soap company. Seriously, 15 bucks an hour with this magnificent specimen.
And as of now, he has 3 games in his brand spanking new T-10 CV Audacious.

He’s a total failure on many ships, he should go back to T5-6.

AcTuAlLy JiNgLeS, the reload speed was 1.4 seconds, NoT 2.0.
Careful now, his shotgun has a very sensitive trigger :P
There may have been 11 other players on the team, but by no means do they all have the same capacity to influence the battle. A CV is worth multiple other ships.
Jingles, In the CV's defense at the start, flying into that cluster he could have been forcing ships to turn away from getting good shots on the Bismarck that had the sole attention of A. As it turned out you were absolutely correct in your observations.
This game is now a joke, a destroyer with its guns can kill a battleship
Yah if other people dont do their job and spot and take down the DD. Lets just nerf everything though. What a joke.
Yeah, well, I get that they have to give it some penetration ability beyond its caliber for the sake of game experience. But seriously, 30mm penetration on 100mm HE shells? How could it not be viable game design to give it extreme dakka against lightly armoured targets at the cost of having to rely on fires and torps against BBs?
@@anderskorsback4104 yea this makes me not want to play wow anymore

Yep.
He could've gone after the Frederick afterwards.
Eyes on the prize, folks.
My thoughts exactly. Yes their carrier player is a troglodyte. But this player should have known to play the objectives at the end.
Honestly the North Carolina DID need to go for A at the end as if he had it would have stopped the enemy cap counter, then pray you don't run out of time lol
All because of u thanks Jingles I love my new job
With the rate of fire of this guy towards the end there is no way that the poor loaders didnt lose some or all of their fingers while rapidly reloading the guns

Because he also has a soothing voice, like a dad reading his kids a bedtime story.
its ships like this that make me think ammo shouldn't be unlimited
well, to be fair, those ships carried enough ammo that once you depleted them you had to repair the cannons aswell, because they consumed the rifling on them
If we are going for realism to create balance, then the whole game would need to be revamped. Since nearly everything about the game is unrealistic.
1:35 - Jingles: mentions Dakka
Destroyer crew: *WAAAAGH*
About friendly carrier - this reminds me about that one replay (somewhere on Jingles channel) with Atlanta that was under constant air attacks...
....and was cutting planes, wave after wave.
Title should have been "Autocannon", or "Dakka". Look at those guns. Yamamoto's the captain, Akizuki is the fire control officer, and the crew are all Orks or those superhuman anime protagonist girls with bulletproof skirts... (bit like a Panzer, in that regard)
Excellent game, Maukadragon, and my sympathies for dealing with two enemy carriers so well. GG Shimakaze, as well!
Over 1000 shells hit my God, raining hell on enemies!
th-cam.com/video/QAgtkk24oNM/w-d-xo.html
Just goes to show your skill is not enough to overcome bad team play no matter how much you do. Mr. Gibbins will deny it until the end but here we are. Like I told him, the most you can hope for is increasing your odds as best you can. How players can get to these tiers without understanding the minimal basics will confound you all day long but Flambass has it right. Its far faster to get to high tier than when vets started. They can do it in days when it once was months.
That Harugamo with that reload buff is like a Chicago typewriter. daka daka daka lol thanks guys for the replay.
Jingles, can you ask the Wargaming people to consider having a design and build your own ship ability please? Using Steel, Coal or Dubloons etc to fund the build. Maybe keep current Hull designs but let everything else be user designed, size, guns, engines all to no limits? They could use a basic hull with drop on/in utilites wherever they can fit, it would be great fun designing and building some proper monsters and seeing them battle with all the pros and cons of the fitout! Im thinking I might start with a 20% bigger Montana class with 18 main guns, 20 twin secondaries, 100 AA guns, 20 Torpedo tubes, Turtle Back Armor and smokescreen generator!!!!! It might only make 10 Knots but it will punch well LOL.
Well, nobody actually bothered to tell the Implacable in chat what to do? Then wondering why he did what he did? Communication, communication... Even if he would have ignored it.
Not to mention, the shima shot down 18 planes. 18! for getting no attention at all from the carrier, that's a lot of planes.
Nobody should have to tell any CV player to go spot and harass DDs. It's their primary mission. Attacking Battleships and Cruisers is secondary.
@@Karrde once the Shima showed up in gun range, I'm sure the Implacable sent him some love. 18 isn't all *that* many; I've blapped up to as many 70 aircraft in an Östergötland; now THAT was some CV love. (Still lost)
@@Karrde I'm betting most of those were the CV defense fighter screen as he gunned it down.
When Jingles cam on with the 'Spoiler alert for the carriers' All I could think of is one moved and the other didn't. We shall see
Your videos are so enriching , I need to do what the implacable did
Carrier players like that is why I became a carrier main. My Serov has a 64% winrate. They are so impactful if you know what you're doing.
Thank you Jingles great video.
IIRC, XP is earned on amount of damage done, based on percentage. This means that knocking 10k health off a destroyer is actually worth a lot more than knocking the same off a battleship, since the former is doing about 40-50% damage, while the latter is only doing 10-15%.
The problem is, I don't think most people know about this, so they prioritize battleships, with their huge healthpools, over destroyers unless the DDs are an immediate threat. If people knew this, they might decide a bit differently on which ships to target.
While true, a counterpoint: It's a lot harder to HIT destroyers unless you get into torpedo eating range.
That is why most of my ships have RDF (Radio Detection finder). Doesn't give a range to target but does give the direction he currently is. Would probably not have helped at the end of this game, though.
everyone has a job to do to make a machine work this is a perfect discriptor
Actually looking at the minimap in the 1st half of the game CV did not missplay. He wasn't sitting in one place, did some initial scouting and while almost whole team went lemmingtrain into C he was supporting Montana & Monarch who were covering south. He was clearly stalling the enemies trying to help those 2 while the rest of the team was being useless at C & map border. They overpushed, and turned mid too late. Also there is almost no communication except for very early or very late in the game. Plus as someone before mentioned they went after the kills instead of the objective and that finally doomed them.
Is it ok for a bigginer to be on french battleship, cruiser and US battleship, destroyer lines? I want to learn and get good.
I think the North Carolina might of been able to save the game because if it got into the cap then the enemy might of not had any forcing the destroyer out. But who really knows. I love the videos jingles
I have done some calculations. If Harugumo goes for A he will at least start flipping this at 4:50 left. This means that Yoshino gets killed by FDG and NC must kill FDG and cap B. Yoshino started capping at 3:29 left meaning that NC probably will start capping at 2:30. When you calculate the points awarded for the kills and caps you get the total result at 913-883 in favour of Maukadragons team. The implacable has shown his incompetence so you should not rely on him to win the match. Maukadragons is obviously a good player and should have known he has to go for A but instead he went for damage and his team lost the match.
Noob here (never played a WOW game ever)..
If the carolina continued heading south west, wouldn't they have been able to stop the red ticket counter since the Harugumo actually made it to the north east cap?
I mean the carrier led them to this situation in the first place but it was the carolina whi didn't know how to handle it.
yes, he would have stopped the points income from that cap, but the points difference between both teams was so great that they still would have lost when the game timer ran out. If, on the other hand, the shimakaze got overconfident or made a mistake that got him spotted, the NC - heading back north - might have had a chance to get a shot at the shima, helping to sink it.
@@R9R6R9 Kind of a hopeless situation. With only the Shima left, the NC was a) not going to be fast enough to get to where it was and b) going to be a shining beacon of 'shoot torps at me'. However, the only chance of winning at that point was to wipe the enemy team. Stopping the points count would not have changed the balance in time for the 2 minutes remaining in the game. And as mentioned in the video, the Shima's end game there was 'run'. It was his match to lose, and he didn't give them the chance to take it from them. The NC's options at the end were bad and worse and neither would help win the game.
You are correct, making you already better at this than the people who actually play. They could've won if the NC had just stuck with his plan. It's not like he'd have been much help against a good Shimakaze anyway from his position.
If the NC had kept going South and just *contested* that cap, the points lead would've dropped, Dave up there would've got into the Northeast point, and the Shima would've been forced to move in and engage or else lose the battle. Implacable was incompetent but the NC well and truly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
@@AR-hi1hy no, you're mistaken. The red team was already up by 200+ points with two minutes left in the game. There wasn't enough time for the green team to catch up on points before the clock expired. The Shima didn't need to engage and based on the red team saying "gg" with a minute left, had already decided to hide in the north.
@@AR-hi1hy If there had been more time, that would have been the wisest choice. However, they are also timed matches, and time was not on the friendly team's side. Not spotting the Shima early lost the game for them. From what I see in the replay, the match was over 9 minutes before the end. That's when the points lead starts to spike, when the friendly team loses the bulk of their remaining fighting force, and when that Shima's presence goes uncontested.
Harugumo+Second Wind+Last Stand= Heavy Metal Rain.

What a derp. I have only the T VI Furios CV and even I realized long ago that, when I am bottom tier CV, my job is to spot and hunt light targets... and that I don't even have to think about getting close to more than 2 ships grouped together.
Thinking and breathing at the same time - difficult task for some...
That is some very wide 5 torpedos this ship can spit out Jingles.
actually jingles, the halland has 6km concealment while the harugumo has 6.2km (captain skills and concealment mod).... even base it is 7.6 for the Halland and 7.9 for the Harugumo
Those guns after second wind is a big can of "f*ck this I'm out" if you're on the receiving end of them omg
Be me needing to get ready for travels
Sees a Jingles video
Oh dear oh dear
As always it was golden watching such an interesting match
Just the simple act of not even doing anything except flying his aircraft over the capture point would have won him the game and saved the ship that got torpedoed early on. Amazing...
The title should be "20 minutes of Jingle's rant about the Implacable"
Man, that rate of fire once the "2nd Wind" came on, that's nuts.
I noticed that the reload speed went down to 1.4 seconds. Imagine getting the A-10's main cannon plus 9 more and strap them onto the guns
Hy guys, i don't know if you've noticed any difference in secondaries accuracy, but i was consulting wows fitting tool and i found out that the base secondary dispersion ellipse has been increased dramattically for all ships; now i don't know if it's an website error, they might have inserted the wrong numbers but i don't think so. For example, max dispersion on my Tirpitz fully builded secondaries was 88 m, now is 206, on my Monty went from 144 m at 6 km to 373 m at 6 km, even cruisers like my Henry went from 143 to 370, on Prinz Eugen from 125 to 313... i repeat, i don't know if it's a error of the website (i use it a lot to adjust my builds) or these values have been implemented into the game, from your experience, have you noticed any difference?
When the Harugumo entered A, the enemy was only at 954 points. If the North Carolina had continued to sail south, he certainly would have shut down C by then. At that point, the only way for the Shima to win would be to either kill everyone or sneak around and cap B. Unlike what Jingles said, I think the NC should have kept going south.
Hey Jingles I love ur vids keep it up
THAT is why I don't even try to play CVs... Love them or hate them, you can't deny their impact on a match!
And I suffer from a terminal case of "tunnel vision"... In a CV I would consistently focus on a side of the map instead of keeping the bigger picture on mind... --"
As a DD main, I am always grateful when a CV lets me alone. When I play any other ship, I want to scream "spot the f***ing destroyer you utter CLOWNSHOE!"
Every time Jingles mentions that one specific Japanese destroyer name... I expect to hear a flurry of little mews in the video.
Yah but akizuki I believe wins the trophy for being the slowest dd ever. Lol with out the booster you go the same speed as tier 9 battleship Iowa but your a tier 8 gun boat that has a low torpedo count but you have a torpedo booster to. But thats sad if enemy BB can chase you and be on top of you in matter of seconds lol.
@@yagdtigercommander Um... Rather missed the point there.
The carrier is like a Quarterback on an American football team. He's not the entire team, but if he's lame; you can't score to win.
Yarugomo gets kraken and activates captain skill. Looks at Lexington hounding him all game:
"So anyways, I started blasting"
If I had been the player behind that Harugimo, I would be kicking myself for not focusing the Shimakaze while the Implacable's accidental spot was in effect. I think had the Harugimo gone for him at that moment, the Shimakaze would have had seconds to live.
Actually Jingles, Haru have 6 Torps tubes... oh well, an old man can forget things as I expected
In an effort to stay positive I try to use all my positive karma points each day. That said, my negatives points all go to CV players. Too many "push up and die", "team ... what team?", "damage farmers", and ignorantly selfish players gravitate to playing CV's. I guess it is no surprise since the planes they attack with only face AA bots thus giving those players a Co-Op advantage in a Random match which is appealing to the lowest of the low. The OP spotting at no cost is icing on the cake.
I noticed in this match that the CV never dropped fighters for his team. Sadly, this is so commonplace it doesn't even merit comment.
once every 2 seconds, seems like that destroyer is doing a laffey and machine-gunning the enemy with main batteries
>gets kraken
>Yamamoto: HARUGUMO GOES BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT
First of all absolutley spectacular battles
second, he landed 1,054 hits in the game. over a thousand
The Harugumo once the captain skill is activated is like giving a M134 Gatling Gun to a maniac and loading 100,000 rounds of ammo. Just imagine having the same thing happen whilst your sailing a Atlanta? Now that be funny 😆
The 20% reload buff when you earn Confederate with Halsey will get you pretty close.
*Harugumo gets second wind* so anyway, I started blasting
I can remember playing a Lexington in a tier 10 match and the only thing I tried was spotting the 3 DDs. The AA on the ships was too much and I knew that. End of the game, I did not have much damage, but I made the DDs well die in a hail of fire and spotting damage for me. It does not matter, I still can not hit crap since the CV changes and only have a handful of games in them since I came back last year.
What! WOWs match making working for once!
I will just repeat my statement from the last video viewed." I am so relived War Gaming's carrier rework has fixed the disparity in skill levels of the cv's."
15:06 ... uhhh no ... That freaking minigun is shooting every 1.5/1.4 seconds O_O ... Thats a straight, "HOLY SHIT!"
Actually Jingles: I've done a driveby with my Yoshino vs. a Yamato ;)
Honestly I think doing a drive by in ships like yoshino are probably are viable option against BBs such as the Nelson, Lennin, Dunkerque, Rich , Jean Bart and Izumo since all their main guns are located in the front of the ship so they dont have any rear main guns but you might have to deal with some annoying secondaries but they wont be able to sink you have they can't turn their guns on you effectively.
Although you could do it with many types of battleships those are your easiest prey for torpedo drive bys lol.
I have a question. How do you record yourself while recording a video. In Other words how do you video overlay while playing a game if that makes any sense?
Thank you Sir, it was worth the wait.
That guy on the cv is a bad player overall. Not only on cv. His max dmg ever done was... 136k. On Yamato. He has Audacious now with 40k average dmg on it. While me as “nothing special” player - I have 112k average dmg on my Auda. That’s almost 3 times more than him. He’s having 1300 battles and has 2 T10 ships.... 4 years ago having the same amount of battles I had max a T8 NC , T7 Nagato and T7 Hatsuharu (when Hatsuharu was T7 in the past). Well, Flambass explained this phenomenon few weeks ago. GJ WG.
Hey jingles, I always play the mobile version of WOW as I don’t have any way of playing the real deal but out of curiosity would you know if War gaming is planning on bringing subs into the mobile version?
Honestly cv players should forced to take a little exam for every cv they unlock before they can play it. It cannot ruin things after the rework they said. AA and CV interaction would be balanced they said. It works as intended they say!
Edit: Disliking because this is about carriers, and I hate carriers and everything to do with them in this game.
I don't know if he would have gotten there in time, but if the NC had just continued south, they could have held all caps. Probably not enough time left on the timer though.
What a timing, thought about getting back into WoW and I get one of your videos recommended 🙄
