Thanks for the help. Never have used that rig before. Im definitely going to try it out. Also, i wanted to also thank you for introducing me to Karl's mystery tackle box. I got it for my dad this past Christmas and today he sent me a picture of the box he got this month. I he was soo happy to have gotten it as a present. So thanks again for introducing to me so i was able to get him such a cool gift.

I'm going to save this link, to study it before next near. We're about to experience our last couple cold snaps here, and then comes the quick warm-up for spring! Sadly I live in a place where hook quantity is limited, so I'll be using one of the smaller versions.

I like the hogfarmer 8 blade rig but I don’t like how stiff the wires are. I feel like the flash mob jr is way better if you want to dredge bottom because of the flexibility and light weight of the wires. With that being said, I’ve caught lots of fish on both rigs! I also like to use split rings instead of snaps because it’s harder to snag Jigheads on other arms while casting.

Humm, doesn't work well in lakes and ponds with bluegill, shiners, and crappie with few or no shad. Welp, that pretty much removes this rig from my arsenal. Thanks for the kick in nuts Ben; just when I was getting excited about trying this out! LOL

come to New Mexico to conchas Lake or Santa Rosa lake there's quite a bit of lake's you could fish there are some Big Bass out here and you could fish for tigermuskie at bluewater lake there fun to catch and for you to keep they have to be 40 plus inches

I have found that non ribbed baits seem to work a little better in warmer water. By non ribbed I mean like swimming flukes or hollow body swim baits. Also these work better with clearer water too. On the opposite end if you get really cold water, and a little color to the water, I have found a grub still bait to work really well.
Love the vids, keep them coming. If you get a wild hair to travel, come down to Alabama. Would love to take you out for some mega coosa spots.

I legit just saw one of these while I was at the store. I believe it was called “The Yum Jr,” but don’t quote me on that. while they’re a cool bait & they definitely catch fish, I don’t think it would really do all that well in the places I fish. dope video tho, Ben!

I have been riding the struggle bus trying to get any fish on the boat this winter. One tournament in mid December, and one just last weekend here in north central Texas, zero fish in either tournament. Mid 40’s water temp and lots of wind. Definitely going to give this a try. Haven't seen any complaints on video length so I'm not getting this "people generally like them shorter" hoopla. I'm not trying to be a d*ck or anything and if you like them shorter that's fine, but please don't generalize everyone's likes or dislikes to suit your own opinion. It's his channel and he's been doing it long enough to know what works for him and his 228k+ fans.
