I have the fourth iPad Pro 11” and use the ESR Rebound Hybrid Case 360 and I love that I have some nice protection on my iPad which I can remove from the rest of the case. I know it adds some extra bulk, but I like having the option to just take the tablet out and not worry about it too much.
It’s not detachable but it copies the design language with the magnetic notches, Apple Pencil sleeve on the back and the feature of attaching it to the fridge or other metal surfaces. Some of ESR’s design are welcomed imo but I just don’t think the build quality is matched.
Great comparison to the Zugu. I currently use a Zugu and was thinking about this one when I upgrade. You made some great points. Thanks for helping me make up my mind👍🏽
If Zugu makes the detachable magnetic case like ESR shift magnetic case, it would be much better. I think they need new design and innovation to race the competitive market. What I want to suggest is that they should ditch apple pencil holder at the back and replace it with small magnetic stand for drawing and put a cover flap inside a space of small stand to hold apple pencil like tomtoc and pitaka case 2. I hope Zugu case still weighs less than ESR shift case even though they make detachable magnetic case.
That would be a great, I hope they hear you cause I like that idea. I just got the zugu case for the iPad mini yesterday and I’d would like to see a design change too now. Or maybe if ESR kept this same design but made it with more premium materials and a little lighter then it would be fantastic!

Yeah that’s definitely a nice to have the option. What option do you think you use more, with the cover on or off?
I don’t really get this comparison with ZUGU. It’s not detachable right? So it lacks at least 3 killer options.

Can you tell me what 3 killer options does zugu have? I am serching for a good case. Can you help me please?
Good review here. Shows pros and cons, compares to similar options. Good work.
Thank you!! I’m glad you liked it

Is there a version of a Zugu you can remove the shitty folio part?
Nope not yet but that would be cool too!
Hi! Does it get attached to the MK having the magnetic sleeve?
No, it doesn't. ESR uses a different magnet layout than Apple
@@bucklifetechIf it did, it would be awesome
