in regards to d1d7 golden, while that is in fact impossible, by all accounts mindeath "clears" are still treated like goldens and placed within the golden list. For a recent example, Silly Goober Map had that same problem and was placed once that run happened.
if someone were to do d1d7 with only two deaths and reach the final room, everyone would consider that a "golden" run even if the golden itself was not collected.

Also someone could release a version of d1d7 with golden relocate triggers (or whatever they're called) and a golden collect trigger but, and I hope I'm proven wrong in the future, I think it's definitely impossible to golden the entire thing.
