You should mention that the car your driving has is the Ultimate package only. The three door concept has been done by Saturn. Running higher octane will get you better performance. Some forums say otherwise, but its simply in the owners manual. I love this car, my wife bought it for me for my Bday. We traded my second G37 for it. And I can say I dont miss the infiniti.
have one myself. you are correct. its no rocket ship but it has good passing power when you need it. the interior options are waaaay better than competetors for that price point in my opinion tho =) good review

Turbo doesn't always stand for tons of power. The Chevy sonic and Chevy cruze use a turbo and aren't anywhere close to the power this one has. And I'm sure they get around the same actual MPG as this. This car is the best of both worlds.
I thought the plastic in my G35 and G37 was worse. For spending $45k + on my infinitis, the interior was very cheap feeling. I did not think that it was any better in the GTI, CRZ, or AUDI TT. All of them are full of cheap plastic. The only car I that I have recently owned, a 2010 Suzuki Kizashi interior was phenomenal. Surprising for a suzuki. This car, just as surprising, I can put up with some of the plastic. I love this little car.
Not to be prude but 2012 GTI here. Just looked up the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi interior and my interior stomps all over that. That cheap plastic is actually a soft touch material which destroys most competitors interior plastics. I seriously doubt you have actually seen the inside of a GTI if you think that interior is in any way better.
obviously you enjoyed driving it, you run a stop sign lol. joking aside this is a very good car, for good mileage, good passing power, good design inside and out. especially the technology within it. are what people need nowadays. not some car with high horse power. every one will reach the speed limit in some point anyways lol
GTI is very german and very plastic. Very bland design. Im sure people like it, because people buy it.But this is one reason I decided I didnt want a GTI, and or the AUDI TTS. But for me and my taste, VW/AUDI (german) its very industrial and hard simple boring designed interior. Now comparing the interior of the Kizashi from a picture, is not in anyway to say your GTI Interior stomps all over it.. The Kizashi has an excellent interior. As does the veloster turbo.
