Trains at Lichfield Trent Valley, WCML | 28/10/22

My first time ever getting off of a train in Lichfield. I spent just under an hour filming some of the action on the low level West Coast Mainline platforms, as well as a few shots from the upper level, end of the Cross City route.
Managed to catch some interesting footage actually, a Freight lead by GBRf 66737 coming round the curve on the freight only line from Burton. Also caught a 720 operating a test train. It was a training run for drivers operating ahead of their transfer to Greater Anglia so keep a look out for them.
So there's a good selection of fast passing Pendolino's, as well as London North Western 350's and West Midlands Railway 323's. As well as two Freightliner 66's. 564 heads north and 66610 heading south. Also 2x pairs of DB Cargo Class 90's heading south & 1x Pair of Freightliner Class 90's heading north.

It really is a cool area to visit ! Even more so with the HS2 works going on and joining WCML at Armitage ! Like to see the freight only line from Burton get used and where that joins the Nottingham/Derby to Birmingham line !
