On several occasions customers tried to throw their food at me (they didn't like it). Being young with quick reflexes, I knew when they were ready to "throw a pitch," to throw their burrito right at me. Every time I was able duck in time, with the food ending up splattered on the wall behind me.
Yeah, if I did come for an extended stay I would be most likely to get a barback or supportive position to the actual barkeep. I could help keep the bar stocked with mugs and replace bottles as necessary. And perform other side duties. I could also be a presenter or emcee at a club or something to start or keep the party going. I kind of do that already when I do karaoke at Cats Meow but I'm not paid for it and not on the payroll but I have kept the party alive and given folks a great time. Occasionally I have received tips in the past. I don't boast of what I can do but I do believe I would be more than capable of hosting like that for a period of time. All the best to you Jen!!!!

I think the easiest is to get a job at the warehouse and some factories. So many foreigners every month. I was there for 2 years. And many of them don't even require very good English skill.
@@nch6807 I was working at Schoeller Allibert in Winsord. All people I know very mostly working at warehouses around or in Liverpool, just doing a picking. Many Polish and Slovak, Czech people.

Depending on your qualifications will determine how easy it is to get a job in retail. sales assistant is a common role in most high street retail stores so you could go for that mostly no experience or little is required for that role. Print out about 20-40 of your CV's or more if you like and just have a day in the shopping district asking for vacancies. Its easier in London because there are retail stores all over London. But up north I am not sure. It depends where you live. You could reach out to retail business in your area and maybe ask for voluntary work/ work placements/ apprenticeships to kick start you off... May not pay for a couple weeks/months at first but once you a part of the business and understand the ins n outs of your role you should be good to join the payroll. Where do you live?

you are too optimistic about the job..... you can get a job quickly if you have some kind of experience and if the job is underpaid....
To be a nanny you would need to have gone through a CRB check before you could do that job.
Plus to have kind of qualifications like specific certificate in childcare unless you just work "cash in hands".
