Hey there Monica, I purchased the XL French-door (the older model to this but same dimensions) It was order from the US, paid a ton for shipping & then had to get a power converter too as its 240 here & the Oster is 110v. Now this was back in March 2019 & its still working great (yes, the light still works too) I was however disappointed to see the "made in china" If I had know that would have picked one for a fraction of the cost from AliExpress. One factor to consider is that the doors open wide, so more room is required than the outer dimensions. Then there is the "snap" I like the door concept but a slight accidental nudge will have them both close on you & yes, they are Hot. So, start planting some Aloe, you may need em 😀 I am looking to upgrade now, but see quite a few negative reviews about the newer model. I want a similar or slightly bigger one, would appreciate some suggestions ✌

I always cover my drip sheets with aluminum foil the extra thick kind and it last for quite a while and then when it messes up I just recover them because I don’t like cleaning them I cover everything that I’m cooking pretty much with aluminum foil to or a lid or a cooking bag because I don’t like cleaning the inside of these that food seems to stick unusually harshly so I just keep everything covered up don’t use it as an air fryer I have one of those just an oven because mine broke
do you also sell Allstate insurance? you could do voiceovers for any company when they want his voice, but want to pay less....and you'd still make a lot.
I just took this one home today.. haven’t cooked in it yet.. ran it for a bit just to check it out.. when the fan kicks on there is a little rattling noise and my other concern is that the red power light always stays on.. so my curiosity is how much power is that drawing when your not using it.. great video though 🙌🏼
Currently deciding between this one and the Oster RapidCrisp. They’re both currently almost the same price and I can’t decide. Which one would you choose if you had to keep just one?
For air frying, I dont think you should have the pan under it. It kills all the heat from below, and minimal air circulation. But, things can drip onto the heating elements. Hmmm?
There's plenty of room in this and it's pretty versatile and cooks well. One problem for me is after a little over a year the door will not close. I'm actually here on TH-cam looking for a fix before I trash it and buy a different brand.
@WaveOvenRecipes definitely will. I'm not sure why the rating on this were low. It really does cook well and it has lot of room and features. I just don't get the door issue just out of warranty.

Get a stainless steel tray. Aluminum is a neoro toxin, and does off gas over 400F temps, so I would use stainless steel trays.
