- If you could see every possible future that could emerge, would you be able to stay in the present moment? I'm probably losing a lot of time if I'm zoned out doing this internal time travel experiment. I like to imagine every possible outcome that could branch out from every critical decision I make. I even end up reacting to the possible futures that I imagine.
Inspiring and empowering as many people as possible ♡

It’s pretty relatable, I don’t know how you’re meant to stop when the “fairytales” are the only thing you have to try and navigate through your life. To me it feels like if I don’t constantly try and think about where I want to be and possibilities then I’m just throwing my life out the window and it’s gonna be disappointing with no achievement. I hope you’re doing well, maybe being in the present is more important than we think.
There is a practical use for this process for sure
I can relate to many of the issues you mention in this video, i am an overthinker, regularly predict what is likely to happen in and around my life. Probably encouraged by my being in business ( self employed) and always needing to plan my life and work. I also study things and people around me, as you say patterns and routines. I feel the same "stress" i can see you are relating as you talk.
It's all good once you realise what you're actually creating 😊
Thank you for sharing. Glad I'm not the only one
There's heaps of us 😁
I relate to you have always been like this I don't know if it's something that you're born with or something you adopt I did watch butterfly effect as well and that does trigger the mind to comprehend every decision and cause and effect to every action you take so you cannot be ignorant to the choices you make and the infinite possibilities that can't be created.
Have you seen Predestination? It presents the deterministic version of time travel
This reminds me of a thought i had some time ago. Ive been fantasysing and daydreaming all the time and all ot ever led to was dissapointment or in sometimes even positive surprises. It could be a new job i just got and i imagine all day how it is going to be like, how the coworkers are gonna be like and everything else and i start to believe in what i imagine and dont even secondguess if it could be any other way. And then when its about to happen it couldnt be more opposite from what i imagined. And that feeling always sucked and told myself im not gonna do that again but i always do. It could even be something like im going to a houseparty where ive never been to and i have this crystal clear image of what the house looks like and what the vibes is going to be.
Turns out i always imagine the future be awesome but even something turns out to be great i still have this weird moment where i realise my fantasy was all wrong.
So what i learned from it was to stop imagining an "awesome" furure event because however i imagine it it wont happen, and if i dont do it it might happen as i would have imagined it. Its like im deleting a possible future because i thought about.
Doesnt make much sense at first but now whenever i imagine a future event i go " damn, so its defintely not gonna be like that" haha and that somewhat keeps me away from fantasysing all the time.
I hope someone can relate to this
I relate completely to what you said I think you're really close to something I think the key though is to imagine what it is you desire and then set it and forget it and assume that that it's going to be but don't think about it anymore this might be my problem as well.
This video has brought out some of the most interesting discussions in a long time
