Cheap energy means a booming or growing economy. It's goes hand in hand. We need to scrap net zero. Get drilling for gas, build mini nuclear reactors en masse. Adapt to climate change with bigger flood defences, bigger drains and natural runs offs to prevent flooding, desalination plants for dry periods etc etc and stop all this nonesense now. Any Labour mp who doesn't understand this should resign from parliament, as you're not fit to be an mp. Roll on Reformuk in power.

The Labour Peer is absolutely clueless!
In 2010, Labour left a deficit that was an eyewatering 11% of GDP!!
Even during the Pandemic, it only reached 15%.
By the time Labour to office again, last year, the deficit was back at 4% of GDP.
Simply dropping Bank of England interest rates to the correct level of 2.5% would have injected a £41Billion annual stimulus to the economy - and still would!!
