God we loved this series absolutely fantastic bought the boxed set recently would'nt part with it TV with 4 channels in those days had far better choice and quality unlike todays tosh
Loved this Drama, just finished all the recorded series. Will miss it now. Very well acted, good story line, kept the interest going, great characters, good standard bar a few bedtime shots. Could have done without the same adverts through every programme and every interval, wasted time was glad to fwd. Love the theme tune/song/

To give younger viewers some perspective, Howards' Way without Simon May (Composer) would be like Pot Noodle without the noodles and the pot.
