- www.vridetv.com The Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) between Lake Louise and Jasper is 230 kilometers long and is my all time favorite place to ride, I've been there several times and can't wait to go back again.
I shot this promo video with fellow motorcycle enthusiast and owner of the Mountaineer Lodge and the Mount Robson Inn, Chad Gulevich.
Chad certainly understands a travelers needs, he has visited 72 countries, all 7 continents, and uses his experience to accommodate the motorcycle community with great hospitality and affordable rates bookending the most beautiful stretch of road I've ever seen.
Loved your video. In 2006 a couple friends & I went on a 3 month ride to Alaska. We traveled the highway & saw the ice fields & Athabaskan Falls & stayed in Jasper. Thanks for bringing back so many memories.
What a place for riding, little traffic, blue skies & tremendous scenery - thanks for sharing.
Great video! My son and I did this very trip 20+ years ago, on our touring bikes. Took us four days, and will always remember it!

Great Ride, the area is full of things to see.
Great video thanks. Coming over in May and this has whetted our appetite and given us a couple of ideas.
4 guys on Harleys from San Antonio Texas. Stayed at the Mountaineer Lodge and did this ride last week.Great place to stay and by far Icefields Parkway has got to be the most awesome ride I have ever done on the North American continent.
Again a great video and fun to watch! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much for showing me the route as I am about to travel there this summer. I had been there 2 times but it was way back in the mid-90's. Hope I can still handle the driving there. Haha
We're going here July 2014! It will be my first Canadian trip
I like it. now I know where to stay when I do ride across Canada from BC to Montreal. looking forward to visiting your hotel someday. Thanks for the tour.
Hello Jeff and Chad, thanks for posting this up. Its great to see the scenery and the links to the lodge and Inn, and what services are available.
Hopefully this summer I can finally get around to taking some riding videos as well on the Icefields Parkway.
What a beautiful part of the World.. Nice video... I ride a GoldWing GL1500 here in Australia, I would love to go over and cruise on your roads.... awesome stuff!.. Cheers from Down Under.
My favorite place in the world for beautiful scenery. Maybe someday we'll make it up there on the bikes. :)
and on VRods!....this is my dream. I've done it in a Windstar LOL
It’s a truly amazing area and yes, it was awesome on Vrods! When you’re able to do it, you’ll love it! If you post a video of your trip please tag us.

Very good video! Thanks for sharing.
My old grade school friend and I have planned a trip through the area from Butte MT , heading up 7/15/22 thanks 😊
Thank you for this!
Great video. I live in the U.S. midwest and have been wanting to ride to the Grand Canyon for a long time. Now you've peaked my interest to take that trip north from there and tour your region as well. Absolutely stunning! I've subscribed to see more, thanks for sharing.
Great scenery and great quality on the video. I'd love to do this ride.
Love the scenery. Great video. Must be sweet to ride through there. :D
Just missed getting to chat with you on this ride as we pulled into Bow Lake just as you were leaving. I can't think of a more beautiful roadway than this. Maybe catch you somewhere else on the road.
Highway 93A it will be for me. And I think I know where I will be staying as I pass thru on my way up to the Arctic in July. Looks like a couple of nice hotels.
Nice! Again. Salute you from Brasil.
Beautiful...
I come... soon!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always loved your videos vride.... Hope to ride with u one day
Great video and fantastic scenery, I have always loved mountains and I just wish I could ride those roads one day. I live in Morocco and I will immigrate to Canada at the end of this year, hope I will be able to meet with you guys and ride together.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks for a cool video. Im actually booked with you guys on Dec 28th (assuming you still own it etc) gave me a good idea of the road since im a overseas traveler. Mike Nz
Thanks for your prompt reply Jeff, I've been up the Parkway many times, but every time I went for the past couple of years I was either in a car, or when I did go on the bike I did not take a camera.
I'm hoping this summer it will all come together, camera and bike equals success.
I'll be hoping for great weather too because it can change in a minute from sunny to cold and miserable.
There is a short video clip posted at my channel taken in 2011 from the shore of Bow Lake.
It's actually a triple continental divide. Water from Snow Dome goes to 3 places: Arctic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, or Atlantic Ocean. Im a bit surprised that he's in the tourism business there and doesn't know that.
Ooooo, and Lake Louise actually drains toward Hudson Bay, not the Pacific.
They painted the lakes blue and the mountains grey .😊
It sure does look that way 🏆

We love your videos! My sister in germany is watching all of them. Please stop by at the Almo Court Motel in Cranbrook, BC. We love motorcycles too
HAPPY 100TH VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did the road back in 1994. Unfortunately by car and not by motorcycle but one day I will be back by motorcycle.
Excellent, happy to hear you have experienced it in person, it’s an amazing area!!!!
By car is good but I’m pretty sure you enjoy it even more on your motorcycle!

@@vridetv I do absolutely agree that's why - sooner or later - I'll need to come back. 🤙🏻....and how about you? Have you been riding in Switzerland and/or the alps? You would love it too!
@@andreasswizzlybikervonallm7820 we haven’t been to Switzerland yet but would love to ride there one day. 🏍🎥😃👩👍

Hi, my friend!
I'm from Brazil either.
Thank you
I will be riding through British Columbia and Alberta in July 2014. My question is, what were you using for a movie camera?
always, man, always!!!
How early in the year is this route safe to travel on a bike. I am concerned mostly about sand left over from winter.
+Joe Negrin
highway maintenance starting in april is pretty good. it stays pretty cold up in the mountains though i would wait until may or june
93A...will remember that.
when was this shot
Beautiful indeed! If i wanna come there from united states with my car what are the requirements? Do i need to pay at the border? Thanks for answering god bless
No entry as of now due to covid, I believe. Any other time all you'd need is a passport.
How can I book a weekend in your hotels while riding
Going June 2014!!
those freaking guys at 2:08
You can rent a bike and tour BC.
