A brilliant tip for Y`all if you looking for ceramics from Rhodos; start looking in your hometown at your thrift store, street fair or car boot sale. You never know what you’ll find.....
Going to Rhodes for the 1st time this September, will definitely do some of what you suggest. Thinking of hiring a car, are the local companies any good, and is the driving typically greek or ok for tourists?
Hi Paul. You're going to love Rhodes, and thanks for watching the video. In terms of hiring a car there are many great companies. If you like I can give you details of the one I used. I don't get any commission, it's just one I found which worked out great. In terms of driving being "typically Greek", it's certainly different to UK with the most common being lack.of indicating before moving into a lane etc. Obviously it's strange going around roundabouts the "wrong way". But the cars for hire are very noticeable to locals. Generally speaking, I found them to Greeks very courteous. Just let me know if you've got any questions.
