I love your format. It really makes us feel like we're one of the "buds". The boat does look beautiful. Great channel. Safe journeys from your friend in snowy Syracuse NY.
All I can say is you two look sooooooo relaxed, content and happy together after practicing all that deep breathing. And now you’ve mastered another dimension which frees you from other worldly constraints. Go forth and be free. This was a nicely done video guys. Thanks and cheers.
Very cool. I gotta say that your channel is like a tv show to me now. Its always neat to see what you guys are doing next! Thursday nights are dinner with Atticus and the buds. Stay safe out there!
I am so busy with my own stuff I never watch any other videos = in 3 days I think I have watched 8 of your videos. Love them all! Keep up the great work!
I Watch alot of sailing videos and stumbled across your and subscribed! It was your heading of the Honduras Islands!! I lived on Utila for a couple of months getting my dive masters, was really happy to see you guys get some free diving lessons there. Its one of the best places to dive, really healthy reef. When I had to leave I really struggled, I didnt want to come home (Maine = snow) I loved it there. I vowed when I returned I would be on my own boat. I am planning on doing what you guys are doing, and your videos are really inspirational and informative. Keep up the good work!!! BTW I love the honesty and personal insight.
What I like about your adventures is you have such a great relationship, people that you feel apart of. I'm an adventure type a person. I love the ocean, but I have a lot of respect for it. What you had done was such a gamble, and what you had done is dedicated your self to learn every thing that you could, and the both of you seem like the perfect match to pull this off. Best wishes to the both of you. I went on a sail boat for the first time 3 years ago, something I always wanted to do. It was a charted one, but I enjoyed it. I love being on the water. But getting our in a big Rainy storm lightning, and big winds and trying to get around on a boat that is bouncing all over the place with something that could go wrong. that kind of excitement I can do without.
Your guys are truly Awesome, its good to see you mingling with others, your an inspiration. Keep loving each other your truly matched and made for each other....Congratulations...
15:30 "I've had couple of experiences underwater that changed my life." Overall great explanation of the essence of the free dive. It's often hard to express to people what it's real about. Thanks
I had an investment meeting last night in this ridiculous steakhouse with all these big wigs from Dallas and Tulsa and the whole time all I could think about was calling my best friend and escaping on a boat. Then I see this video and something about that opening statement just resonates. You guys left with 2 grand and figured it out as you went. I’m starting to formulate my getaway plan...
Jeremy at sv_brujo Very true. I’m getting closer to dropping all of my excuses. It’s difficult, but I do have a nice little chunk saved up with no intentions of getting a house or crazy car. This is escape cash.
I always watch your videos and I think you guys are GREAT! I guess its time that I tell you- You have done an incredible job with your boat- She is BEAUTIFUL!! Have fun and be safe.
Hey Dez, it was great to see how confident you looked upon reflection. That has to be the best feeling. You are now one with free diving, Grasshopper. 😜👍✌️
I watched this vid when it came out and then saved it in my notifications so I could watch it again later. So glad I did. That experience must have been amazing. I cannot wait to get out there and start enjoying all these exciting adventures like you two are doing. KEEP ON SAILIN ON! cheers RJ
100 feet?!? Before watching this episode I would have said I would *never* be able to do that. You guys showed that it is possible with the right "toolkit". Thank you for sharing! If someday I got to 50 feet, I'd consider that quite an accomplishment.
Enjoy you guy's all that life can give, and each other, you only get the one. Love the vids keep it up talk at work, talk at play , show us when things go wrong and wright of course and you will keep your viewers , to many would be adventurers start off well create a following and then lose them by filling time talking about what they have done that we've already seen, and what they intend to do in the future just to fill in time on the vid, it's the action guy's that we tune in for no matter what, true life and its tribulations and how you cope with it, you must understand that 90% of all your viewers are so bloody envious of you even with all it's pitfalls, highs and lows, they dream of being in your place doing what you're doing and cant wait for the next chapter. Love you both a great couple to be in the Company of, if only on Video.
Great video with alot of information for those of us that are scared of not touching bottom. I am too old to start breathing the right way but it would be wonderful to dive down and see the sealife around.
I loved this video. Your excitement at learning something new together was heartwarming. I wish you both great health and happiness. You lighten my week!
Great video! I'm scuba diver but I really like the ease of free diving. In Cozumel I followed a tour boat local down to 40 feet free diving and couldn't believe I made it. I would love some formal breathing training! Great job on the recent videos. Your channel is great! Thanks for sharing!
Wow guys... well done. I've see other sailors take similar courses but you've been the best at explaining it. I would absolutely get into this. Thanks for sharing
How apprapo, I just finished reading Deep by James Nestor, and then you put out this video and now I want to sign up for a freediving course, this was a great video, keep going!
Dudes, 90 & 100 feet down. That’s totally amazing. I started snorkeling when I was a little kid. Use to do a lot of it. The most I ever got to was somewhere around 40 feet. I’ve got to learn those breathing techniques. What I did learn is it’s mostly a mental state of staying calm and slowing down the heart rate.
Really enjoyed that episode. I'm glad you enjoyed the course. I love freediving. 100ft assisted is a great start. Too bad the shop didn't want to give you any love but it seems the training was first rate. Now go dive!
That episode was awesome, made me think about doing a free diving course, anyway love your videos , down to earth and from the heart, good on you guys.
You guys are pretty good to be able to dive so deep so quickly. I use to teach (Asst Inst, in SCUBA), 5 times a day, and most of that time I was on snorkel. The best I have ever been able to achieve was 120 ft. I did grow up deep diving, so that made it more natural for me. Now I am a good bit older, I have no idea if I can get anywhere close to what I did when I was your age. Have fun with it, I actually prefer to free dive, rather than SCUBA, as it is so easy to just throw on a make and snorkel, and not have to deal with tanks, regulators, BC, etc. Have fun.
Wow what a relaxing place to hone up your free diving skills .... I can't wait to see those new techniques used (& filmed)off the west coast of Cuba! D.
Super Cool. I've been diving for long time certified sport & commercial I lived in California I used to free dive for Abalone. California Fish & Game prohibits the taking of Abalone with scuba. Deepest I was able to was 53'. During the decent I was fine and I plucked one of the biggest "Hubcaps" yet and stuck him to my wetsuit and headed to surface. I was about 20' from the surface when I started to feel the effects of SWB. My vision started to darken around the sides as if I was in a tunnel. All I could do is think about making it to the silvery surface. I started to exhale bubbles and when I didn't think I had anything left...AGHHHHH I just took some deep breaths and appreciated the air and sun, still clutching my prize. I recently rectified my Rescue diver and liked the demo on the Dosi Do. Actually on of the best I've seen. Although I will be hard for me to give up the tanks, weights and trappings of scuba I gained a greater appreciation for the freedom of free diving. Thanks so much I really love your videos
I am so impressed that you were willing to venture out with only $2,000 in your bank account. Without being too nosy, I'd love for you guys to do a video in your finances and how you think about long term financial planning vs enjoyment today. Thanks and travel safe!
WOW Buds. i think this was your best vid so far. Or maybe just my favorite. i luv honduras especially Utila. and luv diving. unfortunately when i was there last, for a week, there was a big storm, black on the northern horizon. Katrina, she was being mean to New Orleans. The weather was choppy and i never got to dive. Desaree your new swimsuit is lovely, but distracting, lets keep that in the birth, with the bud. LOL, If you get stuck in Utila i'll see you this December lol
Another great video guys, Jordan I am planning on making a hard Bimini Using the same core material you did for the dodger. Hope you’re back in the states by then so I can consult :-). Fairwinds to you both
First off you both seem to be "glowing" so whatever you are doing you should continue. Just a personal observation but it seems cruisers wind up interested more and more in the free diving and or spear fishing as time goes by. Happy trails
I really want to take a free diving course. I have self taught some stuff but I, like you know I am probably doing things wrong. Putting this on my list to do ASAP.
One thing you guys didn't do is give some info on how to find a good free diving school. I don't expect that people should try and teach themselves the DEEP free diving skills. That could end up bad. That said, I love your videos. They're both entertaining and educational.
Right at the 6m mark when you were "pre-breathing" and the boat came into view (left to right) - the FIRST thing I thought of was Forest Gump - when he saw Lt Dan on the pier and he dove into the water (as his boat proceeded to crash into the pier)..........
I’m fairly new to your channel and just love it!! You two are awesome. I have a question for you, so how long are you holding your breath for when you free dive to the 100 foot mark?
We are in Holguin Cuba and it hot. The city parks have WiFi for a buck an hour. The connection is slow. We used a street money changer to exchange a 100US bill for 98 CUC. Very good deal. Banks any gave $87.5 per 100US. Todd
The two of you accent each other so well you make a great couple many blessings and many voyages to come💜🙏🏽💜. 🙋🏽
I love your format. It really makes us feel like we're one of the "buds".
The boat does look beautiful. Great channel.
Safe journeys from your friend in snowy Syracuse NY.
Great video as always... I just love how honest you guys are...nothing fake here.... Thank you!
With all of Desire's "training" and new experiences, I am noticing she is developing a "swagger" in her walk! Looking Good!
All I can say is you two look sooooooo relaxed, content and happy together after practicing all that deep breathing. And now you’ve mastered another dimension which frees you from other worldly constraints. Go forth and be free. This was a nicely done video guys. Thanks and cheers.
The rope dive footage was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed your perspective too.
Very cool. I gotta say that your channel is like a tv show to me now. Its always neat to see what you guys are doing next! Thursday nights are dinner with Atticus and the buds. Stay safe out there!

loved your comment about the peaceful feeling while free diving! I whish everyone could experience it.
What I like about your adventures is you have such a great relationship, people that you feel apart of. I'm an adventure type a person. I love the ocean, but I have a lot of respect for it. I like the fact that freediving envolves little more than a mask and fins, where as diving needs a lot of expensive equipment. Great video buds!
Your guys are truly Awesome, its good to see you mingling with others, your an inspiration. Keep loving each other your truly matched and made for each other....Congratulations...
You guys are just perfect for each other.
Great video as the usual.
I love Thursday because is the day I have new Project Atticus video to watch.
❤️

Go for it! I'm excited for you!
I’ve said it a couple times in live chats. Set a date and save to that point then roll out. Only you are holding yourself back.
You are SO right. I am taking off this fall no matter what. Life is too short, just too damn short.
Jeremy at sv_brujo Very true. I’m getting closer to dropping all of my excuses. It’s difficult, but I do have a nice little chunk saved up with no intentions of getting a house or crazy car. This is escape cash.
Don’t dread it judge, go for it.
I always watch your videos and I think you guys are GREAT! I guess its time that I tell you- You have done an incredible job with your boat- She is BEAUTIFUL!! Have fun and be safe.
Great videos guys, happy for you,ya very lucky 🍀 to to have lots of fun in life 👍🇺🇸🇬🇹🤘❤️

Awesome channel I’ve been binge watching all week..

So cool to have found this channel while the Pandemic is on, it's a great way to feel a sense of escape while on lock down. I'm binge watching!👍
welcome to our channel!! thanks for watching!
congratulations on getting your certification. You will really enjoy free-diving!!!

I don't watch vlogs stuff normally but this channel is interesting to watch. Keep it up!
Great video with alot of information for those of us that are scared of not touching bottom.
I am too old to start breathing the right way but it would be wonderful to dive down and see the sealife around.
I loved the 3 platitudes at the beginning. Have to remember them
Ive never free dived beforw but the way y'all describe it makes me definitely want to. Thanks for another great videos buds!!
Just discovered your channel today and i love your videos! :)
when you got to the bottom of the rope, the dance you did was beautiful.
Absolutely F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. !! A new focus on free diving. Thanks for the tips, yet a class is still a great idea. Fair winds. 😊👍👌🤘⛵️🚣⚓️✨
You guys are such an inspiration to me.

Really enjoyed that episode. I'm glad you enjoyed the course. I love freediving. 100ft assisted is a great start. Too bad the shop didn't want to give you any love but it seems the training was first rate. Now go dive!
Free diving sounds like Pranayama, the yogic art of breathing. Thanks for videos!
That episode was awesome, made me think about doing a free diving course, anyway love your videos , down to earth and from the heart, good on you guys.
Loving the underwater footage.

Legends!!

Cool episode guys! More on free diving!
Great video... love the bathing suit
What a great achievement
8:23
One of the globe's most beautiful creatures!
No offense Sir.
Keep up the good work kids..
Richard Myhan I agree and 8:38 was pretty amazing also.
Hell I forgot to breathe for a minute at 8:38.
Another excellent video
Well not only are your videos AWESOME, but it helps that your wife is pretty.
Thank you for keeping the dream alive.
Great video!
Did you dive on the Halliburton wreck? Love seeing freedivers there!

That predive breathing also helps oxygenate your muscle tissue, witch makes your dive easier!
We loved Utila! How is our little island doing?
I really want to take a free diving course. I have self taught some stuff but I, like you know I am probably doing things wrong. Putting this on my list to do ASAP.
Utila is my favorite island. Did you eat at RJ’s?
hahahahaha..."We're doing a porn video." What did their faces look like when you said that Jordan?
Yeah Buddy!
#JordanMakesMeSmileAtTheEnd
OK, that does it! I wanna learn to freedive!
That is cool.
So I totally just stumbleded apon this and bam there is my F*ucking cousin desiree!!! How awesome dez! Subscribed and hope to see more!

Check out Free Dive Utila. It’s one of the best schools in the world. We lucked out!
Amazing 💞🇨🇦🐬
So many motivators at the start, my head is spinning already. I got one, too..
IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED, SKYDIVING ISN'T FOR YOU.
I thought it was Victoria secret from the picture of the video😁👍👌
Right at the 6m mark when you were "pre-breathing" and the boat came into view (left to right) - the FIRST thing I thought of was Forest Gump - when he saw Lt Dan on the pier and he dove into the water (as his boat proceeded to crash into the pier)..........

Wow 30k subscribers!
looks like with all the sunshades you've doubled your living space! And you keep the cabin cooler.
Hi all, we are back to Utila

I’m sure you have been told before but just in case you have missed the obvious you can remove that first vlog idea , you have that covered 😎
16:07 " with eyes like that, yes i would, thank you." 110 feet is quite an accomplishment..so is 90...
Spit,rub,rinse DIVE !
I've yet to see a shark on this channel. That's my biggest fear in the ocean. Up in southern Ontario Canada we don't have sharks.
Sounds like Zen meditation.
