TRAVEL VLOG| Places to Visit in Panama City / Mercado de Mariscos /Casco Antiguo or Viejo/ Ep. 2

- Thinking about visiting Panama City, Panama? Well, travel with me as I journey to Panama to enjoy the country's rich culture. It's day 1 and in this episode we .
We then ventured to Mercado de Mariscos (seafood market) to eat. It's located in Cinta Costera right at the entrance to Casco Viejo where you can get the freshest seafood to eat. And man was it GOOD!
We then headed to Casco Viejo/Antiguo to visit the historic district of Panama City.
DAY 1 ITINERARY:
🇵🇦 Lime with the Family
🇵🇦 Mercado de Mariscos located in Cinta Costera, Panama near Casco Viejo is a bustling seafood market on one side and full of restaurants on the other side serving Panamanian dishes made from freshly caught seafood such as ceviche, calamari, shrimp, ect. It’s a place the locals love to go since it’s a so economic and lively.
🇵🇦 Casco Viejo/Antiguo is Panama’s City’s historic district full of charm and vibrancy. Build in 1673 after the destruction of Panama Viejo (Old Panama) in 1671. It’s a beautiful place on stroll on brick-paved streets and admire old architecture.
Places to visit while in Casco Viejo:
👉🏽Plaza de Francia which pays homage to the role French played in the construction of the Panama Canal.
👉🏽Paseo Esteban Heurtas for amazing views of Panama City skyline and bay. You can also see the Guna indigenous people selling textiles and crafts made by hand.
👉🏽One can also see the historical church CATEDRAL BASÍLICA SANTA MARÍA (Sacred Heart Cathedral) build in 1688.

It is a beautiful country on a whole. It has its “not so good parts” but I have a blast every time we go! Yes girl, we are close to that 1000 subs mark…it’s very exciting. It’s a bummer to see ppl unsubscribe but at the end of the day I do it because I actually enjoy showcasing these travel vlogs hoping others will get inspired to step out their comfort zone and visit places they never thought they would 😇
