- Thinking about visiting Panama City, Panama? Well, travel with me as I journey to Panama to enjoy the country's rich culture. It's day 2 and in this episode we hiked up Cerro Ancon Hill which is the highest point in Panama, 199 meters high, that overlooks Panama City.
DAY 2 ITINERARY:

You say "imagine living here", I lived in the house at 14:21 for 3 years. It's been remodeled, most houses there were 4-family officer quads during the Canal Zone period. I watch every Cerro Ancon vid and this one shows "my" place the best. There was much less traffic then, no paved road to the top, and a huge American flag at the top. Thanks very much for the video!
Wow that AMAZING!!! It must be very nostalgic seeing a house you used to live in...I get that way when I look back at our military videos when we lived on post. I can only imagine at the top of Ancon Hill being an American Flag and what message it sent.
Yes, we should have flown a Panama flag also. So much fuss then about the flag, it seems a big reason why we gave back the Canal Zone. Believe me, it was really Paradise and I'm blessed to have lived there as a child. Hard to believe I was living there 50 years ago! 😮 Only 3 years and it dominates my childhood memories. Thanks for replying!

Honestly the trek wasn't that bad especially since the trees gave such good shade...I thought our legs/body would hurt afterwards but we all survived with not achy bodies 😅

If you’re born in Panamá then you’re Panamanian 😉 lol I used to live there when the military was there…I enjoyed having English speaking friends and not to mention going on the base. You should go back and visit. Panama is definitely growing & developing! I enjoy it every time we go back

@@marcelabrown2594 this was the first time my husband had a chance to explore the country and he was like “I can live here” 😲 Now this is coming from a starch Jamaican who could only see himself retiring in Jamaica 🇯🇲
