We offer aluminum and plastic louvers for the 2003 Mustang and neither require any drilling. All the modern louvers use brackets that attach to the glass with adhesive.
With a clean installation this afternoon the lower 1/4 inch latch blind nuts failed to take hold, I will have to replace the blind nut from underneath with a standard nut and washers. Over time that blind nut with the spring action simply will not hold up in normal use, they pulled right out of the proper size 1/4" hole when testing the spring-latch after assembly.
Will these fit the 72 fastback Mach 1 body style? And how do you clean rear glass ? I bought one from CJ pony but it looks differently… no chrome upper hinges and lower hinges don’t mount to deck lid area.
The part I really needed to see wasn't detailed.Placement of the louver it's self.Where does the gaskets lip sit,on the chrome/stainless trim or do you make sure it's against the glass all the way around?I'm thinking the louver I have needs to be bowed so the gasket sits on the glass. At the moment the bottom of it is to wide to do that, the gasket lip goes over half the trim, when you have the hinges matching the body line of the roof.

It’s an old thread but who makes the no drill ones for a 1972 Mach one mustang ?
can anyone tell me where I can get the mounting kit. I don't need the louver. I just need the gasket, hinges, ect to install on my louvers.
Is there a way to mount the louvers without drilling into the body? 1970 Mach 1.
The part in the video wouldn't work, but CJ's part RL5 will work for a 1971.
I think I will use a dab of silicone sealant on the roof mounted allen-head set nuts when I set them in place on my 69 Restomod.

This kit is just for 69-70 Mustangs, the lower part can be lifted to clean the glass. The 71-73 kit is completely different.
@@cjponyparts can that kit work on a 72 ? What’s different
That 19/64 drill is just a coincidence? I think not!
They are pretty specific to the Mustangs rear glass so I would not expect them to fit anything else but I cannot sat for sure.

buenas noches, sabes donde puedo conseguir un louvers para un ford maverick 2 puertas?
67 fastback rear Window louvers install video please
Well it fit on a 1970 mustang coupe
The gasket will sit on the edge of the trim itself, not on the glass.
Now I have a question, would this by chance, I know its weird. But would this fit on a 1969 cougar....
do you have a install video for the 1971 mustang louvers?
No
Does anyone know where I can get louvers for a 71 torino.i can't seem to find one
I'm looking 2 did you find anything
What about the 15' louvers
It’s a pain in the a** , impossible to install the gasket in the louver , I damaged 2 set of them without use.
No, we don't at this point. Sorry.
So nothing for a 1972 mustang Mach I ?
No it is for fastbacks only
