I very much enjoyed watching this video. My Great Uncle Freddie and Aunt Elsie Porter lived in Ashby for many years. I remember so many great summers with them.
I grew up in Townsend just next door, but have lived around the US and abroad since becoming an adult. I currently own a condo in a high rise in downtown Chicago and work for a company based in NYC, but am considering moving back. That said, I appreciate his tempered comentary about moving to Ashby from Quincy. I know exactly what he is talking about, and understand the hesitation to respond. Honestly, kind of dreading moving back that way. Between the townies, lack of industry, and mosquitos, not much to be excited about.
