Happy Birthday! I don’t mind the windowless packaging, but I think for this 60years line, artwork would’ve been better. The x-men animated boxes and the previews we’ve seen for GI Joe’s windowless approach look great. Otherwise this Spidey looks awesome!
happy birthday mate, funnily enough yours is right next to my girlfriends, she just started getting into comics recently and we've been using my marvel legends collection as sort of an entry point, she'll start reading and then point out characters that are in the books from my collection, its not much but seeing her so proud of herself for recognizing people makes me happy

Hasbro and DST have done clamshell style boxes where you can open them up and see the figure and accessories. Granted those are plastic but there has to be a way to make it work.

Thanks, Dan! I firmly believe it's money-driven. Like I said in the 5 inch Thor video, cardboard is cheaper than a molded plastic bubble, and stuffing something in a box is less labor. Also, the fear of swapping is making more of us preorder, which drives more traffic to Hasbro Pulse and makes their numbers from quarter to quarter look better. That's my theory and I am sticking to it! lol

It’s very cool. I have the 1st one so I would like to up date it. I like the look of the new boxes, but I did buy the black and white one from Target and Yeap it was miss from the box and some other figure was int the box. Target was very nice about taken it back.

The only birthday boy giving on his special day. I want the Iron Spider. I need the Iron Spider... And I live in the US. I welcome the windowless boxes. Most of the figures I picked up about a decade ago have started to yellow due to sun exposure despite placing them in a shaded area of my apartment.
This is one of those in which I am on the fence when it comes to buy it. I do like it but the price point it's just unjustifiable for me. I hope I win this one, it would look great in my collection.

I welcome the windowless boxes. Most of the figures I picked up about a decade ago have started to yellow due to sun exposure despite placing them in a shaded area of my apartment.
