There are other DG reaction channels but none of them get the music, the lore, and the community like you do while also being well edited & respectful of the artistry. Bladee is a serious artist and I'm glad to see reviews of his work from someone who actually gets it. i 100% agree with what you said during i cant end on a loss, i've had hackle and goner wonder where my reaction channel went and i had the same problem with their fan base, i guess a little different considering my circumstance but still somewhat the same as what you said, and when i told them that i stopped because the fans are weird they agreed. Those guys and every artist are real people and it pains me to see "fans" being strange to those people, and I guess selfishly it comes onto us just listening to the music too.
I also really loved the album. It couldnt of come at a better time for me as well. The lyrics in the last song, where he talks about the flowers, just describes the situation I am in. Being under a lot of pressure and having a lot that is weighing on me, but at the core I am still strong and faithful in myself. This kind of theme comes up a lot in the songs imo. I am also aware that I am projecting my own situation and thoughts and feeling into this, but it makes his music so special. Everyone can interpret the songs as one likes, often because they are very symbolic and not very clear. Great artist, great album

Regarding ”every time i check the comments I'm thinking like do they even deserve me?”: I feel like you discussed this a bit in another video or maybe it was a discussion in the comment section, but the way memes sort of took over young ppls music consumption during the pandemic was kinda crazy. Drain Gang and bladee especially been very affected by this, maybe cus it’s easy for ppl to poke fun at since their art has such odd & unusual elements to it. But the way a lot of new listeners been introduced to their music is purely through memes and i think that affects how they relate to it. Cus i don’t think bladee is against ppl having fun with his music, clearly a lot of it is very goofy on purpose (at mcdonalds get the sad meal) but the way ppl treat him as a meme and not as an artist or even a person has been pretty appalling. Not only is his IG comment section awful, but it's also the way every youtube comment section is just - ppl don’t express real thoughts on the songs anymore, it’s just copy-pasted memes and often not even drain gang specific memes, just the same tired memes regurgitated in every underground rap comment section. It’s sad cus clearly they put a lot of thought and heart into their music and presentation and they've created something unique and rare that is very important to a lot of ppl, but from what they can see on social media it might just seem like everyone think of it as a joke or something disposable, "give us evil bladee back". idk, maybe ppl will reflect a bit on their behaviour after these songs, but also entirely possible it’ll be forgotten in a few weeks and we’re right back to constant meme posting and not thinking critically about art nor treating artists as real ppl who can see what you write on their social media posts
