  • Juicing is a great way to increase the intake of nutrients and enhance your health. In this video, Joe Cross from Reboot Your Life talks about the health benefits you can enjoy from regular juicing.
    Joe calls fruits and vegetables "captured sunlight" and the energy contained in them and their power can be released by converting them into a liquid form − juice. All fruits and veggies are rich in certain properties that become even more active after juicing. For instance, apples are loaded with enzymes, antioxidants and micronutrients that becomes more potent when they are liquefied. Vegetables and fruits in liquid form are quickly absorbed by your digestive system and give a powerful boost to your body.
    Joe says that the array of fruits and vegetables lined up on his countertop provide great health benefits as they are high in potassium, magnesium, calcium and iron. These enzymes and micronutrients are perfect for healing many health problems. The other health benefits from juicing include more energy, stronger joints, better sleep and maintaining a healthy weight.
    Invite health into your life by incorporating juices into your diet!

    I totally agree with you Joe I have a masticating juicer and I am convinced that it is good for my family. I know that juicing for health works because my wife drank it all through her pregnancy and the hospital told us that her blood was the richest they had ever seen!! And that was enough evidence for us! Keep juicing for health everyone!

    I just started juicing a week ago and let me tell u I feel 100% better. I am doing it once a day right now then I will increase to twice a day my second week and three times a day my third week. I exercise 3 days a week and will amp it up to 6 days a week very soon.
    Fat Sick and Nearly Dead changed my life...I want to be healthy and LIVE. Not just walking around half dead with not enough energy to even walk my kids to bus stop down the street. I want to look at myself in the mirror and see me and not the shadow of unhealthy living.
    Thanks for these videos. And be blessed.

    Juicing really works! It's a great way to lose weight too. I used to eat a lot of processed food and it made me sick. I tried eating a lot of fruit and vegetables but found it really hard. Then i discovered juicing and haven't looked back since. It's super easy to achieve optimal nutrition within juicing and improve the way you look and feel!

    Juicing is great for people with digestive issues. Yes fiber is good but most people have problems with their stomach and intestines so removing fiber is great because your body works less to digest the food. For example i have gastroparesis. Trust me i can't handle fiber so juicing is great for me. Also i gained healthy weight with juicing because i was underweight. I couldn't eat anything

    I make a fresh batch of juice each morning! Yields approximately 4 cups! I add fruit but my main ingredients are vegetables. I drink two cups in the morning and two cups in the evening or before bed. What I have noticed is that I no longer have cravings for junk food like candy and potato chips. I also sleep much better. I started juicing because I’m always on the go and I know for a fact I am not getting the nutrients I need from all the junk I was eating. Juicing for me is not for weight loss but more so to get the nutrients I’ve been missing. And I’m also focusing on eating better!

    You can lose fibre when juicing however the point of juicing is to introduce more fresh fruit and veg in to your diet (not to mention water) and not make it a replacement for food.

    How can I make myself to go back to juicing? I tried it for 3 months, and I was loved it. But unfortunately I end up going back to meat, due to my family. How can I learn to control myself a again and focus in eating healthy, without feeling guilty from family?

    • @amberlawrence5508

      I believe what Joe Cross has said during interviews is that what he tried to do is be 80% good. So if you are 20% bad that just means you're a human. No one is perfect. So you have one meal with meat in it. Ask yourself, how good have I been? Have I worked for this treat? If the answer is no skip it. If the answer is yes then stop feeling guilty. All you can do is make tomorrow better. I broke my 4 day juicing fast today by eating 2 slices of pizza. Ok fine but I know I worked for it. Stop beating yourself up and cut yourself a little slack.

    So i am confused. If your juicing fruits and vegetables your ripping the fiber out of it it (pulp) which is critical for to slowing down the sugar being pumped into your body. Would this be a disadvantage of juicing?

    Blending is much better than juicing. If you blend, you also get all the fiber that's in the pulp. This balances the fructose in the juice.

    • @scottsway
      @scottsway 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're exactly right Lirim, juicing strips all the fiber out and essentially turns it into liquid sugar. Basic rule of thumb is to juice vegetables and blend fruit.

    • @warrenlauzon5315
      @warrenlauzon5315 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      scottsway Not necessarily - some juicers leave quite a bit of the fiber in, and it also depends a lot on what you are juicing. The big disadvantage of blending is that it mixes in a lot of air, which speeds up nutrient losses by quite a bit.

    • @scottsway

    • @amberlawrence5508

      But if you're taking in 80% veg and 20% fruit you don't have to worry about the fructose becuause you're regulating your fruit intake. Insoluble fiber has no nutritional value and is not a daily requirement.

      Juicing allows you to take in higher amounts of RAW fruits and vegetables in the form of their fresh juice, especially raw vegetables which are very difficult for many to eat and harder for the body to extract the nutrients from. Extracting the RAW juice allows you to get all the natural enzymes, antioxidants and other phytonutrients that naturally exist in them but are often destroyed by cooking, especially the enzymes. For example, it would be impossible for most people to EAT and CHEW a whole stalk of RAW broccoli, a whole fresh beet, a bunch of raw fresh kale and some cabbage to get all their ant-cancer nutrients. Even if you could somehow eat all that, your body still has to work to separate the nutrient containing juice from all that raw fiber and then the fiber just passes through you. You can however use a power juicer to extract all the pure RAW juice from those, throw in some fresh apple for taste and then drink all of it down and your body doesn't have to work to absorb any of the nutrients. Your body gets an instant revitalizing high dose of nutrients from fresh vegetables that increases your body's ability to heal, even more than you could ever get from simply trying to eat more fruits and vegetables.

      Jimmy C so how about the nutriblast thing? my wife just picked it up and basically you just toss everything in the cup, whole. 50% springs greens, kale, spinach, whatever. 50% fruit, again, whatever kind. throw in some nuts, seeds, etc. and water. blend it all for about 15-20 seconds. chug that bad boy down, 24oz. all of it. good to go right? i'm not a sales rep or anything, i simply came here looking to see if drinking your fruits and veggies is better than eating them. now i'm NOT talking about just the juices. literally throwing in there a full raw celery stalk, full raw carrots, full raw strawberrys, full raw broccoli, whatever. isn't that even better than just juicing? i mean your basically taking in whatever you throw in the cup. it don't have to be a nutriblast, any of the various gadgets that are on the market. i guess what i'm asking is if it's better that way? just throw everythihg thing into a cup and beat until it's all drinkable and veoila, you're done for the day. right?

      reaper creeper I've done both blending and juicing. Both are very good ways to maximize the way you consume more fruits and vegetables. Blending preserves the fiber but juicing gives you more of all the other nutrients. It's a trade off. Much of the volume of a smoothie that you make with a Nutribullet is taken up by the fiber along with the added water that you have to put in there. All the other nutrients however, (the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes, essential oils, protein, etc.,) are inside that fiber in the juice, so when you juice you concentrate all those other nutrients in pure liquid form. In my opinion, it's better to blend soft produce like berries, papaya, bananas and other soft things that don't juice well (while also throwing in some leafy greens, slices of carrot or beet, pieces of broccoli, nuts, etc for more nutrients). Keeping the fiber with sweet fruits when you blend them also slows down the absorption of the natural sugars which is better for you. Nuts and seeds you can't "juice" but if you're using a masticating juicer you can make nut butters. I think it's much better, however, to juice lots of raw vegetables to get a much larger amount of all the nutrients inside all that dense raw fiber than you can get with blending. You can literally pack in lots more nutrients into a single glass from many pounds of raw veggies without having to also consume too much fiber which can make you feel bloated. I would recommend blending once a day for fiber and then juicing the rest of the time for much more of everything else. Hope my explanation helps. Cheers! :)
