Toyota should really get back the 2.8 Diesel engine , it was a gem!
It is available in the Fortuner now. The reason they removed the 2.8 from Innova is because people started to think why to buy the Fortuner in 46L when you are getting the same power figures in a 28L Toyota MPV Innova Crysta itself😂.
Now they have tuned the 2.8 in Fortuner to produce 204PS and 500Nms to justify its price and segment it belongs to.
Toyota should tune this 2.4L Diesel to produce 170PS and 400Nms.

@@rahulaher3078 Yeh, I said same power (bhp). Fortuner had more torque - 420Nms (MT) and 450Nms (AT), then. But both of them almost had the same bhp figures. 174bhp for Innova and 177bhp for Fortuner ig. 0-100kmph too was same for both of them (11.5 secs around)

@@rahulaher3078 Thr Fortuner after the facelift has been tuned to produce 204PS and 500Nms. Pre facelift model used to produce 177PS and 420/450Nms (MT/AT). Say something after knowing all the facts and info.

Etios is very underrated. We can ride that car like mahindra jeep. Only lacking is plush interior look and interior features comparing with its competitors. If Toyota taken care of that it will be the one of the best selling car

Faisal, next year this car is said to get hybrid power. You know for CAFE regulations. Will most likely be a petrol hybrid in the interest of cost. Can't spend on both Turbo & electric motor you see 😅. My question is will it still wear this bulky silhouette ⁉️ shouldn't it change to something light to achieve the 30% efficiency improvement⁉️ or would it just be a namesake hybrid like the intercooler the earlier innova added during bs4⁉️

Yes the newer one looks better than the older one. The older one looks dull. Because of that colour. But the newer one with the new grille new wheels and a colour looks brilliant and fresh when compared to the older one.

Innova's speed is amazing. If we need to overtake a vehicle like large truk just accelerate it and it will take over like a butter. I really like this car. And good comfort
