I saw Jose comment on Vincent's cover of _Kings_ and he was very impressed. Likely this is a working copy meant to be sent to Vincent for him to work around since they would ultimately collaborate to create _Descendants_.
After listening to this version, I think the "release" or "album version" of Descendants on Jose Pavli's TH-cam and his Bandcamp is not the same one that plays in-game. The background female choir (especially noticeable from 1:10 to 1:38 on this alternate mix) does play in the in-game mix too, but is inaudible on the album version. I don't understand why videogame (and film) developers often include different versions of the songs when releasing the albums and not the ones that came in-game! Now I think this is the case for all songs in PW: F59 that have background choirs, but this confirms it for Descendants at least. That aside, it seems many here prefer the Cascadian leitmotif rendition of this early version. I am not sure I agree, because Lucy Knight's choir on the final version is wonderful and I don't think anything else is changed here, it's just that final mix could have benefited from a more balanced mastering so that the strings and brass are not drowned by Lucy's choir and Vincent's guitars. Also worth noting are the "A Distant Deal"-like transitions that don't seem to be present on any of the final versions. Thanks for sharing this version!!
@@emberglazeYou should give it a go and see how the final rendition was structured for this mission. Then see about adding your own flavor to give it the kick it needs in whatever fashion you go with for this one.
jose asked whoever is handling his copyright that any unfinished/unpolished versions are to be taken down because he prefers having polished and finished tracks posted i talked it out in his dms, he's chill about it but said he could not cancel the claim and just told me to reupload instead
Even his unfinished work is still such peak

Somehow the Cascadian theme part at 2:47 sounds more dramatic this way
Hype's going Critical! There's no coming back from this!
*Cascadia will SURVIVE!!!*

@@EduardoHernandez-jl5qt absolutely cool!
ive also noticed the same choir difference in the looped version of world on fire
This also happend with Fire and Dust, the one in his channel is also slightly different from the one that plays in the game.
2:20 gah dayum
my cascadian patriotism leaving my body when i hear that drop:
Goes hard
The un-vincented raw version is absolutely hard and I hope this one could possibly be used for a third game. It is simply too good not to be used.
without vocal and with more hard culmination
I know these are incomplete but can we still get an extension or some kind?
i dont really know how to properly extend music without losing its pace, but im sure its possible
