It's such a joy to see people from all generations and walks of life find joy and entertainment from Roy Clark. He was and still is a master of the guitar. And he has a wonderful sense of humor too! ❤

He's a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, and hosted a country music variety show called Hee Haw for about 20 years. If it had strings Roy Clark could play it. Check out him doing Malagueña.

Listening to Roy Clark is only half of the total package. I love watching his expressions. He was such a well-rounded entertainer.

Don't feel that way! We all have our own levels of talent. As long as you're enjoying yourself and putting music into the world, you're doing a beautiful thing and God's work!

Clark influenced and was appreciated by country icons like Paisley, Keith Urban, Charlie Daniels, and Ray Benson, but his influence went beyond Nashville-style pickers. “The reason I play guitar is because of Hee Haw and Roy Clark," says Tele shredder John 5, who currently plays with Rob Zombie.

Absolutely. Different era, different style, different skills. No tricks, just prowess. Period. Add in being an apparently natural entertainer, easily incorporating audience engagement, comedy, and real storytelling...just greatness! AND a little Jed Clampett soft shoe? C'mon!
Love to see this talent surviving so many decades later.
      Cheers

Roy Clark played almost anything with strings. Made people laugh. I don't personally know a single guitarist that hasn't heard of him. He was an absolute icon of musicianship.

The late great Roy Clark. He was untouchable on the guitar and very good on the banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and anything else with strings
Try his original "Thank God and Greyhound"

He was no Chet. But on the other hand, Chet was no Roy. Both were great and people can legitimately argue that either was the best. But no one can say they weren’t great.

This was when country music had real musicians like Roy, Glen Campbell, Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins and Merle Haggard. Roy was also a great singer and had big country hits and a couple of crossover hits with ‘Come Live With Me’ and ‘Yesterday, When I was Young.’ And, of course, he was the co-host of ‘Hee-Haw.’

Roy Clark was a huge part of my childhood. He's one of the reasons I adore music so much. Sadly, I can't play, but I thoroughly enjoy listening to a master on a stringed instrument. Roy made an appearance on the Odd Couple and played The Malagueña. Check that out to see even fancier fret work! Roy was a legend in his own time and beyond!

First time I came across your channel today! I love your reactions! You are one of the few I have seen that really catches a lot of the little things that Roy Clark throws in to make it even more fun!!!! If you want to see him smoke a Guitar check out his version of Malaguenia!!! I don't know how many times I have watched it and it still makes my jaw drop every time I see it! Great reaction show!

This dude actually started out doing RAP. He was a member of the Bloods, his lyrics were hardcore and parents did not want their children to buy his albums. So, reluctantly he started doing Country Music. His endeavor into Country Western never really went anywhere. So, he loaded up his truck and moved Beverly Hills. This is when he entered the UFC, as a Heavy Weight. He lost his first three fights, this is when he joined Weight Watchers, where he eventually became anorexic.
