- To close off Fire Emblem Villains Month, let's revisit this old meme and give it some much needed closure, now that more new Fire Emblem stuff has come in.

Fun video, but I don’t get the Claude one, since he’s the furthest away from being evil out of the three main lords.
His portrayal in 3 Hopes still is very distinct from 3 Houses. Noticeably more "machiavillean" to be precise.
@@CountShamanoh yeah, I guess I just didn’t remember. Then again I do remember that one guy (I think it was Randolph) getting killed by Catherine as a result of Claude’s arrogance.
It makes more sense in context, it's basically about how people in fandom took him as a joke in Three Houses, but in Three Hopes he's actually playing the machiavillean side that devs and even Claude himself were hinting at.
@@troykv96 Yeah, in 3 Hopes, Claude is pretty much everything Lorenz says he is.
He convinces Count Gloucester to stage a false surrender in all routes and if you don't recruit Byleth in Scarlet Blaze, he betrays the Empire after signing an alliance with them.
In Golden Wildfire, he abandons Randolf and the Empire's forces to perish to Catherine in order to win the battle. This doesn't sit right with any of his friends and they all call him out on it, which then results in Fleche attempting to take revenge against him.
3 Hopes Claude is what he was meant to be in 3 Houses. However, that game heavily focuses on the Dimitri/Edelgard story, so it feels like Claude is just a side character reacting to the plot and he doesn't get to showcase his deceptive and untrustworthy side.
Great way to finish off Fire Emblem month.
