Koken nut setters. I predominantly work on jaguar Land Rover so i see 8,10,13mm hex. The nut setter is magnetic and on a slide. So it works on nuts or bolts. Makes life so much easier
I just got done with my first day as an apprentice and I already have some of these tools like the electrical wratchet and a socket set but I like the harbor freight clip and body tools
Congrats on the apprentice! Harbor freight tools are great to have when first starting out. A ton of my tools are from there. When you start to make some money you can slowly upgrade your tools. Good luck! I have an entire auto body and paint career playlist, check it out here th-cam.com/play/PLL-HJjKvWes5uoihbiWo6EGh_DobmNDgu.html - Garrett / Sla Automotive Art
Yeah, usually a shop is set up with a collision side, and a paint side. When I made this video, at the time, I was a shop where everyone was a combo tech. Body and paint, which in all honesty wasn’t fun. It was a lot to do. However, through this specific position and shop, it didn’t open the door to my painting experience/ career/ skills. As an apprentice I’ve been building my box to match what my teacher’s looks like. I’ve come to discover I genuinely love my tools
One new tool per week, or per month… soon enough you’ll have collected them all!
Power tools and a sander go name brand, but everything else harbor freight has never let me down. Their chief products are great.
Amen! Agreed 👌🏻 thanks for commenting and watching. Love my habit freight tools 🛠
DA! I should’ve specified, thanks for the question!

Your the only painter I’ve seen who puts the bumpers on and stuff like that. Usually all the painter does is prep and paint from what I’ve seen.
