All the girls, except for Lisa, are Korean by nationality. Rosé has Korean parents, but she was born in New Zealand and then moved to Australia and finally moved to Korea when she auditioned for YG, her first language was English. Jennie was born in Korea but studied in New Zealand for a time. Lisa is Thai, born and raised in Thailand.

She grow up comfortably in Thailand and as far as known, Lisa was educated at Praphamontree II International School and the tuition fees there amounted to $19,500 per year, which was the even higher than Rosé and Jennie's tuition fees. Blackpink donated 40M KRW (33,580 USD) or 10M KRW (8,395 USD) each to the victims of fire in South Korea. In Dec 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20M KRW (16,790 USD) by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income and another 20M KRW to single-parent household in South Korea. Lisa donated 200K baht (5,975 USD) to the victims of flood in Thailand she donated it quitely without any attention of media but the people around her can't hide how lisa was so kind and later reveal it. She was scammed by her manager for about 1B won or (842,125 USD) but she didnt want anyone to know, to not worry and at the that time they're going to have their comeback so she keep it and settle it privately. She created a TH-cam channel as a way to give back to her fans and pay the filming, clothes, materials and choreographer with her own money without any help from the company. She also helped and supported Education in her hometown. she is an only child, being strong indepent she is, i really admire her for that. she goes to korea to train all by herself because she has the passion to reach and achieve her dreams. we all know blackpink members are rich even before they became blackpink but they didn't look at theirselves higher than anyone and when you became a trainee you just have yourself, trainees are ostensibly allowed to communicate with their parents, the nature of the beast doesn't leave much time for it. Trainees' phones are taken away for almost the entire day because they usually practice 12 am to 12 pm a day. Actual visits from family members occur rarely, if at all, and only with approval from management supervisors and once on their life when still a trainee they lived in a small dorm together, and they only do grocery one a month where at some point they have to only eat scramble eggs and strawberry jam, they didn't want to ask money to their parents and revealed that they once live with cockroaches. Blackpink and Kpop Artists as a whole experienced the same situation and it's not easy at all even if you are rich there is no exception and even some other kpop artist are not supported by their parent to became one but they did it all by theirselves because they has the passion to do achieve their dreams but haters is just cruel and always gonna hate.

When the wildfire occurred on the evening of the 4th, Blackpink said, "we sympathise with the pain of the residents of the Gangwon area," they also cancelled their comeback press conference meeting which was scheduled the next day. In Dec 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20M KRW (16,790 USD) by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income and single-parent household in South Korea. She audition because her dad ask her to and ended being the only one who passed among more than 700 people who auditioned. Rosé started her training after moving back to Seoul from Australia. She trained for 5 years and 3 moths since July 2011. She is the only Korean member to be born-and-raised in South Korea. After being trained for more than 5 years she finally debuted as the main visual, and lead rapper of BLACKPINK.

According to Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo is the mood maker of the group. HER BEING A MOM FIGURE TO THE GIRLS
She is the mom of the group and would be the person blackpink members would lean on. She is a de facto leader in the group, as the group decided to not have an official one. Many blinks know that the girls only saw her cry once. In the neflix documentary "Light Up the Sky", Teddy Park told that despite working with Blackpink over all these years, he's seen Jisoo cry just once. That explains a lot because jennie said that if ever jisoo has a very feminine personality they wouldn't be them today because they need someone to be like their light on those dark times and i hate the fact that many ot3 stans undervalued jisoo but blackpink will always be four.

During her vlive she learned that many blinks skipped meals just to attend and wait for the them early. BLACKPINK have donated 40M KRW (34,000 USD) for restoration of the highland and to help support the victims of Sokcho forest fire. According to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, on 8th April, Blackpink members Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo donated 10M KRW each to their organisation. When the wildfire occurred on the evening of the 4th, Blackpink said, "we sympathise with the pain of the residents of the Gangwon area," they also cancelled their comeback press conference meeting which was scheduled the next day. In Dec 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20M KRW (16,790 USD) by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income and single-parent household in South Korea. And they donated another 20M KWR.

Every fanmeets, concert or other events they would always got expensive gifts from fans. But you know what, regardless of the price, the girls would still jump for joy getting gifts from fans.
