- Decided to take the Gorgon and Mojave 4s out for speed runs and it turned into a wheelie thing. I'm not mad at either of these trucks and am so glad I got them.

Use the other RC to flip the Gorgon back over. I think my brushless Gorgon is best on 2s. It's just crazy enough. I also run the biggest possible pinion. Wanna say 19 tooth. It barely squeezed in and took every bit of adjustment in the Hot Racing motor mount. I'm running a 100a Spektrum and 4000 kv motor. On 3s it's basically undrivable past half throttle
I did flip it back over with the other rc (edited that out) after many tries. The Mojave was basically abusing the Gorgon 😂 My wife thought I was mad 😅

Yup. Could probably get better runs with taller gearing. But the wheelies are too much more fun! 😁👍
I was guessing my Gorgon build could hit atleast 50. Now I know.. 54 isn't bad at all . I noticed when I run a Granite body on my Gorgon the nose stays down better, also venting the body in the back should help with top speed runs. 🤘🤘💯💯
Thanks James! I don't think venting the body is needed, I just need to hold off on punching the throttle I think. She loves to wheelie 😁
@@bigbristv yeah, mine is the same.. I have the Typhoon wheelie bar setup. Gearing up doesn't stop these from wheelies. At all. 🤘🤣

I feel like the Mojave is gonna be hard to get over 60 mph without a different body, it picks up so much wind

I've already hit 65mph with it. If I gear up a few teeth I know I could hit 70+ in the right conditions.
Chance your diff oil with thinner one so it stays on 4 wheels

have you found any street wheels and tyres that fit well on the Mojave 4s?
I haven't looked. But some use GRPs for street runs.
