A GOOD ENDING TO A ROCKY START in New Zealand/Aotearoa

When you travel not everything always falls directly into place, and you know what, I learned that that doesn't matter! The most important thing is to not let your head down and keep going :) Right now I couldn't be more thankful for where I am, with who I am, and what my surroundings are. New Zealand is pretty damn great and I have the feeling that it will only get better!

I love your honesty, transparency and integrity and I wish more people were like you, as the world would be a better place if there were. The South Island is an amazing place and the West Coast, even with all its rain and desolation, is more laid back than anywhere else and is my favourite.

It’s so wild to be on the other side of the world and see old friends.
When I was in the UK for a summer in the ‘80s as a student, I walked into a bank in London and found I was standing behind someone from school. We then had a fun day sight seeing when he had a day off.
And it happened again on that trip - I was walking along in a village and I heard a loud voice ask me what I was doing there. I looked up and found in front of me a former team mate from cricket. It was very amusing and still puts a smile on my face when I write this, decades later.
