- Hey Everyone,
I was invited by Michelin to head to Portugal to test out 3 tyres:
MICHELIN POWER 6s
MICHELIN POWER GP2s
MICHELIN ANAKEE ROADS
On Day 1 here, we tested the Michelin POWER 6s and POWER GP2s.
On Day 2 (to be posted soon) we tested Michelin ANAKEE ROADS on the road and the POWER 6s and POWER GP2s on Track.
I hope you enjoy it :)

Wow Kate you were really listening in the presentation! I'm impressed! Great video and amazing trip eh 👍
Haha I try Chopster, I try!
Very privileged everytime I get a mention in one of your videos Kate 🙏🏼, capable all the way up to fast group on a track day, power 5’s worked in fast group last year until I had a spill, be nice to try the power 6’s and also gp 2’s in the near future, tried older models to them already and can use and make all work, Michelin all the way 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Very professional Kate, well done.
beautiful route.those of us who live in the Mediterranean,we are used to this dirty road.(in the cities the road surface is even worse with many potholes).
Great video Kate. Tuono looks a fun bike.
So humble ❤
My only Michelin experience is of Pilot Sport's on my old Buell S1 Lightning-I loved them. My new Triumph Tiger 1050 is on Pirelli Angel GT's-another tyre I had never tried but they seem grippy in the wet and dry, communicative and hopefully will provide decent longevity. The art of tyres and compounds is a particularly complex one and I guess the "feel" of a tyre can either make or break a bike's reputation.
Absolutely! If you get a shocking tyre as a stock component it potentially costs you future sales.
Great to see you on an Aprilia
Awesome video! I have the Road 6"s on my bike and I can't believe how great they are in any condition. Especially wet. The primary benefit though is how quiet they are. Best!
Great video Kate, I’ve just today purchased a set of power 6’s for my superduke, after reading the reviews , I’ve always gone with the Diablo Rosso , but fancied a change this time, looking forward to getting out and scrubbing them in now 😁
Kate, Aprilla sounds great. I have used Michelins on and off for years they used to be soft and grippy in the 70s and still are great at tyres. But it's amazing that some bikes perform better on different tyres. Pirelli are great, also had a lot of Dunlop roads mart and they grip well in all weather. It must be nice in the dry and sun good for you.
Hi kate got a speed triple 1200rs 2023 just fitted power 6 amZing for road use
Oushhh nice!
A great video: very well put out. Tyres are a very important part of your ride.
When I road sport bikes I always went for road legal slicks: Didn’t ride it in wet or cold. Cruiser I never really give two brass shites.
Joe for the adventure bikes: and baby trail bikes. Im finding it more important to know what tyre I need…
👍
On my dualsport/adventure bikes I rode with Metzeler Tourance. Amazing on road and green laning, sticky enough on the tarmac and suprisingly durable on the loose stuff. I think they still do them.
I do like that bike. But alas we can only really have 1 bike at a time (or 2 if we are lucky).
Hi Kate
I have pirelli tyres on my CB650 and agree they feel the best for a sporty ride, but on my old Suzuki Bandit I use Battleax and find they're okay for that style and era of machine.
On the bikes you were riding I'd settle for the Power Six. Seems like a good all-rounder.
Great video and informative. Thanks.
Love your t-shirt Kate! ❤
I only rep the best! 👌
Great honest content. Tyres are and always will be a very personal thing. Would be nice to see a launch in good old sunny UK. 😂
Be interesting to compare the Bridgestone s23 and michelin power 6 tyres... Thinking of those as my next tyre for the the s1000r.
My question for ALL of you fellow riders is which 90%road 10%track tyres are best for 2024: Power 6 or Bridgestones s23?
Enjoying from nepal😉😊😊
Nice vlog Kate. You made me laugh with the windfarm ......Its just like Lancashire 😊
Threw me off 🤣 I was like... where am I again? lol
Living the dream dude ✊🏻 ☀️
Just out here trying! Appreciate you!
@Usernamekate are you coming to the TT this year?
😎
I had Power cup 2's Now I am on Road 4s
Can you try the Suzuki dr650 2024?
My only experience of Michelin tyres ended up with about 10 bomb like craters as my bike went end over end, disappearing into a turnip field, rapidly destroying itself. Pride and body badly beaten 😅
Another banger video!
just in time , kate !
weeks ago i ask a workmate what he think about this brand (on a bmw touring) ..."not bad.." he told me ...at a honda first equipment michelin i disslike , also on yamaha
are conti's or bridgestone tieres somewhere arround you for the next video...?
Do you think the Power 6 would be good for all year riding , I love my road 6 and they do everything I need them to ,
Depends if it rains alot where you live, I'd say road 6s over powers for wet grip. Just depends on your needs
@@UsernameKate of course it rains a lot where I live 😜lol, hope you and Mike are ok
Longevitéhh
Mcvitéhh Choccy Digestives
Was that the Michelin Man in the back or Chopsey?
Just saw your moment on Dirt Bike Lunatic. I guess I look too menacing to try that crap on. No one bothers me on my GSXR
I commented, if Mike was with you they would not have even tried.
Unless I’m mistaken did you mean to ride it in commute mode on the acid yellow Tuono? Basically a rain mode/lowest power
No, I managed to change it :)
@@UsernameKate 🙌
Arguably the roads are a good testing surface - can your tyres grip when the road is in bits? 🙂
No one crashed which is a good sign 🤣🫡
Michelin’s are great road tyres 5s are brilliant have no knowledge of the 6s
Ive got 5 bikes! I may have a slight problem 😂
Parking space? 🤔 😂
Do you have five dog's as well? My wife wanted another puppy and suddenly I was allowed to bid on a bike😂. Did not win, puppy is now next to me.....
Deciding on bike number 6 is always a slight problem.. It gets easier after 10.
Great tyres but too expensive.
At lest your honest and cant compare the tyre its impossible to compare tire level until its too late in my opinion.
Wouldn't it be funny if after riding both of the aprilia bikes you didn't notice much difference 😂
Wait, why is that funny? 🤔
@@UsernameKate because obviously they would expect you to be able to 'feel' a difference between the two, but as is often the case average folk can't always see it in the real world, so if you couldn't distinguish a difference that In my book would be ironically humorous ergo funny 👍🏻😉
Ahhhh, I getcha!
👍🤪🏳️🌈
What a terrible road, makes uk roads look less awful
There ne only one good tire..... PIRELLI.
