Nice review. This looks like a good unit except for the limited space you can put ice cubes. Would like to put more ice, larger blocks to allow longer cold cooling instead of room tempreture without having to go fill the ice often.
Thank you 🙂. Actually, the ice melts off very quick when put in that compartment. The reason is water constantly is pumped into the compartment from below tank and it comes in contact with the ice, reducing the temperature and melting it quickly. I have one doubt regarding poring of water. In the compartment ( where ice cub and water poring), two holes are there. Should i pore water in that hole or directly have to pore in compartment?

Backside there is a small slot at the bottom side. There we can pour water from a mug. Also we can pour it from the top ice tray slowly. Else it will spill backside from inside the honeycomb mesh. Flushing out water, we need to remove a cork plug at the bottom of tank backside.
At least, my machine does not throw any water droplets. But for sure humidity will increase in the room. Windows need to be kept open when using the cooler. If water droplets enter electronic devices then certainly there will be problem. Regarding humidity vs electronic devices. DSLR camera lenses can catch fungus when exposed to moisture. Hence if you have any camera lens, then better keep it outside of the room. Other electronic device i have not seen any issue. As long as you keep the moisture in control it should be fine.

However, if you need to take a call or talk to someone over Skype, they will be hearing noise.(at least when you speak). When put on low speed its ok. For example, if you are in a living room, you cant hear any conversations that you normally hear from the bedroom, thats adjacent to living room, if this is operational near you. Low speed noise from this is 2 to 3 times (or higher) more than ceiling fan sound (on low speed). I don't feel like watching tv if this operational due to the sound. I use it while working on my laptop or during sleep. I sometimes stick to ceiling fan, just to avoid the noise when working and also to avoid moisture build up in the room. As I close the window to prevent outside noise and dust. But I think for noise, it's the case with any air cooler. I did a sound test to measure the noise level. Here's what i saw on the smartphone decibel meter app. Here's the decibel levels: Sound level in my room is around 30db. When the blower is turned on, it measured 51, 52 and 53 on low, medium and high speed fan setting. When the cooling pump is turned on, it adds 2db more aound and the noise level rose to 53,54 and 55 on low, medium and high fan speeds. Measured it 10 feet away from the cooler. Water spills from the air vents : I usually fill water till the visible indicator on the front is covered and not beyond that. Also, i restrict the speed to low always. A full tank of water can last for about 10 to 12 hours on low speed blower setting. So you can refill when it goes empty. It will also sound a alarm indicating no water and the pump stops. Otherwise you are free to top it up when ever you want. Changing water/cleaning : It depends. As long as you use the cooler daily, you will end up filling it daily and fresh water would be there in the tank. But if you fill it and dont use it for couple of days, then i would drain the water and refill with fresh water, as it could have become stale. Also, after prolonged use, its better to drain the water completely and rinse the tank, and then fill it. Because the water may turn yellowish as the paper particles from honeycomb pad mix with water. Hence a bit of cleaning the tank once in a few days may be good. Applies for the dust/mosquito filter as well
Yes. Even without ice. You will feel cooler air if you are directly in front of the air cooler facing the air. If you are away from the air throw path, you may not feel any coolness. It will not reduce the room temperature like an AC. As long as you are in path of air you can feel the cool air.
Yes, it is bit noisy. At medium and high speed, you may not be hear any sound that comes from outside of your room. Please Check some of the other comments to which I have responded. You may get some idea on the noise levels.
Normal water should be good enough. I only add normal tap water. Even if you add ice, it melts off very quickly. The water actually becomes cool after sometime if you feel it.

Its still working for me!. Yes. Its a good one for smaller rooms. I wanted specifically a space saving aircooler and hence bought this. Since its narrow and tall, it can fit in small spaces occupying less space.
Humidity increases for sure. But using it for longer time, i feel uncomfortable with the air blowing directly on me and also the noise due to air blowing. If you are looking to increase humidity, check out humidifier. I recently bought one and using it daily. Will post a video soon.
Hi Bro.. I couldn't find similar pump. A bit different type is there on amazon. There are many other pumps slightly different in shape. You may not be able to screw it to the screw hole at the bottom of the tank. Just need to dip it in the tank and use it. My original pump also failed 2 times. I repaired it and its running even today. My issue was the impeller had detached from the black cylindrical shaft in the water pump. I put feviquick and attached it. It worked for 2 yrs and detached again as the pump got clogged with the honeycomb paper particles. I cleaned it and glued it again and it is working fine now. Removing the pump was a bit hard task, as the screws had got rusted and i could not losen it. I had to cut off the plastic anchor and remove the pump. I have now just placed it at the bottom of tank without anchoring it.

I purchased a small personal size water cooler & even with humidity & without ice, it provides cool air. But I have never seen in an ad or a video how long the water lasts. I want to get a big cooler like this because the tiny one I have only holds about 8-10 oz of water & lasts maybe an hour. I want a cooler that will not need water for hours or at least I'd like to see a product that addresses it. It's quite frustrating.

I used this cooler last season, but the remote is lost now, it refuses to work manually. Please suggest solution. Not getting remote replacement at Hyderabad.
2 ways. First one is by pouring water in the top most ice Chamber. 2nd is by pouring water in a small slot, thats located at the back side, just above the water tank container.
My dear friends, I strongly suggest not to buy this model. Worst than ever. You cannot expect that It cannot cool 10x10 feet room. Too much noise. Very expensive. Many alternatives available in half of this price.
If you did not add any water or switched off the water pump, it cannot cool the air. As water will not flow on honeycomb pad. It will just operate as normal blower. But the air throw will be more.
good review and bad design. i got one in Qatar and it can't bring out the tank and can't add iced gel box also how to clean it because after sometime it will get clogged by algae and dust.
I think I had removed the bottom tank once, as i faced an issue with pump, and i repaired it myself. If you have some tools like screw driver etc, i think you can easily remove the bottom tank and clean it, if you want. But, yeah, for a normal customer, or user, cleaning is not so user friendly.
You didn't mention how you fixed the problem of water not going to upper compartment from the bottom compartment. Please guide me as I have this problem in my Sympathy DIET 35T cooler
Hi! . I fixed it by glueing the propeller to the impeller magnet. It had given away. Please search for "fountain pump quick fix repurpose" on youtube and watch that video. There could be other reasons for not working like dirt accumulation on the impeller. In that case, cleaning the pump may just fix the problem. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 🙂

If water is leaking from the plug behind the tank, then you can wrap a thin plastic around the rubber cork and plug it back, ao that the drain hole is tightly sealed.

Mine is working fine even today. Depending on it heavily, daily. The led indicators of the touch panel buttons are gone. But the cooler works fine.

Use a tap sealant like we use to thread the tap. It's good and best since am having same diet 22 for the past 5 yrs

I want a cooler that will not need water for hours or at least I'd like to see a product that addresses it. It's quite frustrating.
Oh.. Sorry to hear about that. At least in India there are a lot of other brands also, where we can get even higher capacity coolers. There are local made cooler as well, that are very effective. May be you will find one some day that suits your needs 🙂. Thanks for watching!

Hw cn we fill a water in d tank of dis unit.
2 ways. First one is by pouring water in the top most ice Chamber. 2nd is by pouring water in a small slot, thats located at the back side, just above the water tank container.
140 watts for me is too high for evaporative cooler. This time 2 electric fan with 70watts each is way to cooler

My dear friends, I strongly suggest not to buy this model. Worst than ever. You cannot expect that It cannot cool 10x10 feet room. Too much noise. Very expensive. Many alternatives available in half of this price.

Yes. You can. Might be a little noisy, compared to a regular ceiling fan.

If you did not add any water or switched off the water pump, it cannot cool the air. As water will not flow on honeycomb pad. It will just operate as normal blower. But the air throw will be more.
Can we use it while we are working with laptop?? Or will it spill water
My machine has not spilled any water till date. But I have heard from people that it spills out.

good review and bad design. i got one in Qatar and it can't bring out the tank and can't add iced gel box also how to clean it because after sometime it will get clogged by algae and dust.
I think I had removed the bottom tank once, as i faced an issue with pump, and i repaired it myself. If you have some tools like screw driver etc, i think you can easily remove the bottom tank and clean it, if you want. But, yeah, for a normal customer, or user, cleaning is not so user friendly.
Does it harm body skin??
I didn't feel any harm. It makes the room humid. Need to keep the windows open.

You didn't mention how you fixed the problem of water not going to upper compartment from the bottom compartment. Please guide me as I have this problem in my Sympathy DIET 35T cooler
Hi! . I fixed it by glueing the propeller to the impeller magnet. It had given away. Please search for "fountain pump quick fix repurpose" on youtube and watch that video. There could be other reasons for not working like dirt accumulation on the impeller. In that case, cleaning the pump may just fix the problem. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching 🙂

It is a bit noisy. But I think it's the case with any air cooler. I did a sound test to measure the noise level. Here's what i saw on the smartphone decibel meter app.
Here's the decibel levels: Sound level in my room is around 30db. When the blower is turned on, it measured 51, 52 and 53 on low, medium and high speed fan setting. When the cooling pump is turned on, it adds 2db more aound and the noise level rose to 53,54 and 55 on low, medium and high fan speeds. Measured it 10 feet away from the cooler. Hope this helps! @@mathewthomas3359 As long as you are deeply involved in work, i think the background noise should not matter 🙂. (at least for me). However, if you need to take a call or talk to someone over Skype, they will be hearing noise.(at least when you speak). Due to the noise you may not hear sound from outside the room. (ex someone calling you etc). Not sure of any other air cooler..as i haven't kept track of other coolers in the market. I sometimes stick to ceiling fan, just to avoid the noise when working and also to avoid moisture build up in the room. As I close the window to prevent outside noise and dust. Hope this helps!

Hi there! Sorry to hear about the problem..i am not sure why it spills out from the window..I am not facing the issue on my machine. I usually fill water till the visible indicator on the front is covered and not beyond that. Also, i restrict the speed to low always. How to fix water leakage problem
If water is leaking from the plug behind the tank, then you can wrap a thin plastic around the rubber cork and plug it back, ao that the drain hole is tightly sealed.

A bit noisy. Low speed is ok. High is bit loud. If someone calls you from a different room, it may not be audible.
