You'be shown your ignorance. Improved braking and acceleration means that the moment you spot torpedoes, if you're moving at 20-45 degree angle to the torpedoes so theyll strike your cheek, then you can brake and turn in. near guaranteed misses due to the ship's turning circle and braking
they lowered the long range effectiveness of the guns because it was deleting carriers in the first couple of minutes of a match. those long ranged guns just were deleting them. can't have CV players have to learn to... i don't know. move?
@@micklane7306 Kremlin has a somewhat unique dispersion curve that "supposedly" gives it better dispersion when very close. Dispersion and penetration are completely different things. What they did to Vermont is not buff its dispersion, which is consistent at all ranges, but buff its close range penetration and nerf its long range penetration. A close range penetration buff for a battleship is essentially worthless because every battleship with 15 inch guns and above has the penetration ability to citadel any ship at close range. Long range penetration and shell flight times are far more valuable because they allow you to be effective at any range. Penetration and dispersion are completely different things.
Was this with prop mod? Or you can no longer equip prop mod after the change? Looks interesting regardless. Maneuverable BB with fast reloading cruiser heals, good conceal, armor and insane guns. Might even grind this thing
Her pen didn't really decrease by a huge amount. It went from slightly above Ohio to slightly below it, mainly just gained a fuckton of airdrag but higher krupp. It's quite interesting if you compare all three side-by-side

Full survivability man, instead of concealment mod in slot 5, do consumable mod, get the repair party 3 point skill with every other tank skill. 34 second active dcp, and rp time. RP will reload faster than it is active with new buff!!! *YOUR GUNS WILL RELOAD SLOWER THAN YOUR HEAL*
@@ThatOneDude7 doesn't matter when you fire and are visible for 20 seconds. That heal will make it so you can fire many more rounds. That 12.6 concealment doesn't matter when you only go 20ish knots while avoiding shells
@@trololoev My man, her shell do as much damage as GK's 420. Below average penetration for sure, but that pen is still workable. Long reload? 30s is average, and she still has the highest practical AP DPM and the 3rd highest practical HE DPM out of any tier 10 BB. Her heal CD is average at 80s, and Montana heal is much stronger than most tier 10 BBs/

This is HEAVILY offset by the fact that Montana should take Artillery Plotting Room mod.2 in slot 6 whilst other battleships take Reload mod. This makes the Montana 7th in HE DPM and 7th in AP DPM, per my napkin math. Actually 8th but Colombo is a meme and needs the Range mod. Sounds a lot less impressive when you put it in proper context.
@@trololoev Are you having a laugh? The Montana has a improved heal which heals you more then other repair parties (all US BBs have this), Her reload is the standard 30 seconds, and her shells hit like a TRUCK and since they are slower then most they overpen less.
@@GarretTheGussy When playing a ship in WOW S do you choose the one that has a strong heal or the one that is fun to shoot other ships in, I go for the second option, I don't care about how good DCP or Heal is just how much fun they are to play against other ships, being a damage pinata is not my idea of fun.

My point was that I don't play ships of any kind on their ability to take damage, I play ships on the ability to dish it out I don't sail round just to be shot at. I think it is a poor choice, if they went with increasing it's mobility only that would have been better.

Vermont will use Connecticut's shell, you're talking about 0.7s more lead and 26mm of pen loss at 25km, it's hardly matters.

In order to avoid this, I'm currently grinding out this line and making them all secondary boats. No shell shall be fired unless it's 12Kms or less :|
It’s nice to see the Turbo Electric Drive on these older US BBs finally get the improved acceleration they historically had.
Those shells have to renew their passport, order an in-flight meal, and stop by baggage claim before dealing damage.

Air drag went from 0.3 to 0.37, and krupp from 2290 to 2400
Are you running range? Are you running dispersion or faster reload?
He has 24.5 km range, so he is not running range. He also has a 40 second reload, so he is using the dispersion module in slot 6.

Ahh they slowed down the shell velocity so when you shoot at the correct range you reload almost as soon as you find another target
