that school blew my mind. the exterior was amazing, from the simple panels to the courtyard, and then you could go inside it?? and the view from school? wow.
Japanese is probably my FAVORITE island theme of all time. I am definitely making on after I finish my current one

The school, stunning. The view from the school, STUNNING. The beautiful modern small japanese city, STUNNING. This whole island is a complete vibe with views & realism.
As someone who lives in Japan, I love all the little japenese things, like the concrete tetra pods, the vending machines, and the Shisas. Beautiful!
INCREDIBLE island, perfect example of spatial intelligence and how less is more, and it captures the afternoon Japanese school theme to a t !!! And the view in the bg was GORGEOUS. I also can't get over how creative the creators get with the panels and stalls, and the way this particular creator did it next to the train to make it look like there was a restaurant - beautiful.
This will help me greatly. I have wanted to improve my japanese island (we are currently making an intricate story surrounding the resident deity) and this island is already giving me some fresh new ideas. Thank you, Katie.

i wish you could change the look of resident services
even if it means getting a 5 star island first, but like change the aesthetic
so make it a gray stone or maybe a quartz look and such
but oh well doubt it'll ever happen

As someone who struggles to decorate a good chunk of their island I hope that the person who made this island is okay with me stealing their pond idea😅😂😂
the creator probably wouldn't mind, if you need to steal ideas then you will never be as good as them

How do you build a school on your island
What is the name of the pattern used on the simple panels behind Resident Services? I've seen other creators use that brick with the little symbol. I've seen that in pictures of Japanese residential areas, in movies, but I can't for the life of me figure out what that symbol is. Can someone please help?
The lockers at the front of the school are to store your outside shoes. Fortunately my school does not require it lol

I don’t know if you’ve figured it out by now but the houses are the toy houses sold during December for Toy Day, they’re basically just little doll houses
