    Happy to see that you set the heights you wanted to measure with the valve spring compressed on the weight scale.
    That scale base moves up in down depending upon how much force is applied to it.
    I’ve seen too many people with these spring testers set that height with no spring pressure applied to it. That will give you a false reading.

    Where would one acquire such a tool to measure spring weight. ?

    Question: What are the units of measure for the valve spring? Springs don't exert pressure, they exert force, but lbs isn't a measure of either, it is a measure of mass, so none it makes any sense.

      That is a good question and I am probably not the most qualified person to explain it, but I'll give it a shot. When we weigh something, we are not actually measuring its mass, but we are measuring the downward force the object has because of gravity. So, pounds can be a measure of mass or of force. This is referred to as "pound-mass" or "pound-force." In this case, we are measuring the force of the spring in pounds. I am sorry if I misspoke or said something in the video that made that confusing and I hope this helps!
