I found Nimra Jacob speaking out of her heart and she said every voice matters which I totally agree with. Mehvish hayat had made up speech which nobody was listening to. Adnan Siddique after passing disgusting remarks on his fellow female actors what he said was'raise subtle voice ' like you don't even have a courage. Ahmed Ali but stopped audience when they were shouting for Palestine. When you say we don't get respect it means you didn't earn it. We don't want coward, hypocrite people as a face of Pakistan. It is high time to understand how important it is to use any platform correctly.
Request for @Something Haute: Hasan's "Assalam o Alaikum, so and so" and "yeh takya bara acha hai", and Aamna's 'tanzia puppy' should be regular features in the videos. Back me up, guys 😆
I was at the IPPA, and you guys are absolutely right ! They lost me at some random designer winning over ali zeeshan and nomi ansari. Basically whoever agreed to attend it had won the award. Another category (newcomer) was won by some Emaan singer where Hamza Sohail was among the nominations. It was an absolute joke
In my opinion, the cancellation of MTV awards was not ENTIRELY to mourn thousands of lives. First, the artists and crew fly from all over the world, which might be difficult in current time. Second, France is already volatile due to on-going mass level protests, so, security of artists might be threatened. Third, leaders of leading states do not want to give a global platform to some artists to speakup on ongoing events.

IPPA awards: I strongly condemn Chahat fateh Ali making Mehwish uncomfortable. She was clearly uncomfortable. Ahsan khan and Ahmed butt should have intervened. He should not have been invited, he is no one, and if he was then he should not have been there on stage with one of our top actresses. When hassan asked Aamina to guess Social media sensation, I were like OMG hope it's not chahat fateh and for this award I'm grateful to Ayesha Omer for receiving this award even if she paid for it.

I really respect how Hasan talk about the issue every week however Amna not seemed consistent how consistent she is when it is a time to support Malala or feroz khan (wife abuser) or a film like joyland. She said that Rizwan shouldn't have talk about Palestine and cricket should be out of it, like why? They are ambassadors and this is the right time to speak for a right cause. Ronaldo shows his solidarity with Palestinians without any fear and gets huge respect from us because thousands of people look up to him. Amna you really need to find a ground you all over the place.

I hated watching the last couple of episodes but I can't deny the magic it created. It was bound to win best jodi and also people's choice for male and female respectively considering the amount of love it received from audiences around the world. More than 50 percent of people in India right now who are watching Pakistani content were introduced to them through Mere Humsafar. I think for some reason the show did not receive the amount of awards that it should have even putting together the lux award thing and this one. It was sad to watch. Bhai next year Yumna Wahaj jaise fix hai waise hi Farhan Hania ka craze tha last year ka. Why are they turning a blind eye to it? Would you please explain why if at all there is a specific reason for it jo hume nahi aara India mai samajh (internal politics types)?
Thank you! This sentiment resonates with me and I’m sure with a lot of us. Mere Humsafar, even with all of its faults, was undeniably the most talked about show last year. The love that Hala and Hamza received from all across the world was insane. I have never been hooked to a show nor a character in my life, but Hala and Hamza as a couple had me hooked. The fact that they didn’t receive a single award at Lux and didn’t even get nominated at IPPO is shocking and sad. I don’t know how these awards work but looking at the people that won (other than a few well deserving folks), how can the public take these award shows seriously anymore?

No hate to poor Hania. Yumnas votes got divided b/w ishq e la and sinf e ahan, and Hania was the second most popular choice. Hence she won for Sang e Ma. If Hania was nominated for Mere Humsafar it would have been better. Or Yumna only for Sinf e Aha.
In IPPA who attend the awards will get the award. They have no credibility even if a non deserving person will attend the award show he/she will be back home with an award and ( I am not talking about hania here).

But there was Deepika's statement that Ranveer called out later as well that she was committed to him in her mind but was seeing other people and she said after few minutes that I don't remember who these people were. This is clearly a very very problematic statement by her. Just imagine if Ranveer would have said it or Ranbir, would people be so forgiving towards them. Irrespective of gender, commitment should be respected. Again saying I may be saying something incorrect because of not knowing the context so pardon in advance.
They both were casually dating. It's wasn't like ranveer was in a commitment relationship and Deepika was going behind his back. They both started casually but ranveer was more into her from the start than she was into him. She wasn't deceiving or cheating on him. It was a consensual relationship between two adults. It wasn't any critically acclaimed movie, just a one time watch that too because of the big star cast. One can watch it if fan of Alia or Ranveer. But if you are up for the content and story don't waste your time in that.

Hassan, it wasn't an ad, in fact it was a headline but as itb was sourced through a single entity/ source, it seemed like an ad, just like copy paste WhatsApp forwarded messages to few journalists by the same "entity".

Hi Hasan and Amna, as in this current situation every voice matters. I really respect how Hasan talk about the issue every week however Amna not seemed consistent how consistent she is when it is a time to support Malala or feroz khan (wife abuser) or a film like joyland. She said that Rizwan shouldn't have talk about Palestine and cricket should be out of it, like why? They are ambassadors and this is the right time to speak for a right cause. Ronaldo shows his solidarity with Palestinians without any fear and gets huge respect from us because thousands of people look up to him.

I hope this comment reaches you and probably the people it is about. Mere Humsafar might have been terrible by the end but it was what it was and gawdddd it was an emotion. I hated watching the last couple of episodes but I can't deny the magic it created. It was bound to win best jodi and also people's choice for male and female respectively considering the amount of love it received from audiences around the world. More than 50 percent of people in India right now who are watching Pakistani content were introduced to them through Mere Humsafar. I think for some reason the show did not receive the amount of awards that it should have even putting together the lux award thing and this one. It was sad to watch. Bhai next year Yumna Wahaj jaise fix hai waise hi Farhan Hania ka craze tha last year ka. Why are they turning a blind eye to it? Would you please explain why if at all there is a specific reason for it jo hume nahi aara India mai samajh (internal politics types)?

Thank you! This sentiment resonates with me and I’m sure with a lot of us. Mere Humsafar, even with all of its faults, was undeniably the most talked about show last year. The love that Hala and Hamza received from all across the world was insane. I have never been hooked to a show nor a character in my life, but Hala and Hamza as a couple had me hooked. The fact that they didn’t receive a single award at Lux and didn’t even get nominated at IPPO is shocking and sad. I don’t know how these awards work but looking at the people that won (other than a few well deserving folks), how can the public take these award shows seriously anymore?
There is also Sehar-Hamza craze dont forget. They are also close in competition.

KWK: I didn't watch the whole episode so I might be wrong in saying so. But there was Deepika's statement that Ranveer called out later as well that she was committed to him in her mind but was seeing other people and she said after few minutes that I don't remember who these people were.
This is clearly a very very problematic statement by her. Just imagine if Ranveer would have said it or Ranbir, would people be so forgiving towards them. Irrespective of gender, commitment should be respected.
Again saying I may be saying something incorrect because of not knowing the context so pardon in advance.
They both were casually dating. It's wasn't like ranveer was in a commitment relationship and Deepika was going behind his back. They both started casually but ranveer was more into her from the start than she was into him. She wasn't deceiving or cheating on him. It was a consensual relationship between two adults. It's not said that ranveer wasn't seeing other people. He only said he was sure she was the one.
