Thanks for Watching!
maybe semi aquatic fish or bean plants
I think a really fun series could be videos each focusing on the life cycle and habits, native habitat, etc of 1 creature. Or maybe highlight a food chain. I also really love time lapse plant growth content. Already love your videos so far, you'll do great!!
@lelotz Mudskipper?
@mylauraberg2872 I can do that! This video was originally going to be a food chain from the biofilm so I would like to go back and do it again. For plant growth and time-lapse I have one coming next. I have alot of free time to be making more content right now 🙂
can you make a series where you make a large vivarium using a large tank (something big enough to fit atleast 2 average sized cats) and have it be tropical with both land and water and have a new episode each month and add new species each episode and make it as biodiverse as possible. and some animals i want to see in the vivarium include: crested geckos, house geckos, sun skinks, guppies, platies, zebra danios, velvet worms, mealworm beetles (and other darkling beetles), fruit flies, mantises, fire ants, carpenter ants, marauder ants, springtails, jumping spiders, isopods, cherry shrimp, daphnia, ramshorn snails, garden snails, tubifex worms, earthworms, and planarians.
I appreciate that you take your fishes stress into consideration. Loved the video.
Thank you!
Caution with the channel "tierra epica", is stealing videos and translating them into Spanish. I think he steal one of your videos but deleted it.
De Que hablas? Nadie le quito los videos.
I've just seen it lol Thanks for letting me know
Huge compliment
He is also stealing other peoples' videos

Quality video, that assassin snail made me laugh hard 😂😂
There's plenty of babies, I'll pick out vegeta 😂
Glad you liked the video!
Never fails. Absolutely brilliant. Love your videos 👍
Amazing video! Subbed!! Keep making videos i love it
Yo plantbox i like this video great job bfo😅 1:10
This kind of content is what i like the science experiment done on this tank is so amazing btw i'm a new subscriber hope to see a lot of this videos ❤️
Awesone video! Cant wait to see the babies grow up
This video gets me nostalgic when I was a kid in Thailand. It's getting harder to find their natural habitat this day 😢
Macky is majestic! Super nice video 👌
Brilliant. Just brilliant.
Just came across your channel and love it! I have a Betta named Abu and he's awesome and blue just like Macky!
I love your process, and the way you document it and share it! 🎉❤ Thank you!
Absolutely incredible! I love your style ❤
Another amazing video, been waiting for this!
Well done 👏
Hello fellow fish TH-camr, I’ll see you at the top. Keep delivering this high quality content!!!
I will wait and keep watching for the Macky's generation🤣
Love your content, please keep update every month or week maybe hehe
oh man this was so entertaining to watch, blackwater tanks & wild bettas r goated
Please continue what happens next dude . 😅
really good video mate 👏
You could do a video on chameleon geckos. Relatively unknown but I personally think they’re one of the coolest gecko species out there. Love the vids btw❤
Nature is so amazing
This is an amazing content, not gonna lie, makes me want to have one of those, but I am clumsy with what to add like you do, for example the bacteria and micro organism for the babies ect.
I love this make more
Ma-ha-chi is how u say it, idk if it's ai voiced but great vid man
wow this is amazing i cannot wait for next part
awesome, i love what youre doing here and how it is all natural. I really want to see a simulated tank of the bettas natural ecosystem and have two bettas breed naturally in it, i still haven't seen that successfully done yet
I love your videos and I was wondering if you do water changes ?
@riceu0 Thank you I do water change yes but not as often, I just do it when I when the glass becomes dirty or just for a refresh but there's no schedule
Your channel is an instant watch, every time you upload. I love it. Keep it up!
Thanks for my next project 🙌🏼🔥🔥
Let me know how it goes!
I'm so glad I found your channel. This was fascinating😉
Glad you enjoy it!
I just bred a pair of

Great video, this documentary was nice and relaxing to watch. ☕️😎👍💯
thank you very much for the super content. Wish to see more of this.
Thanks for watching
this is awesome!
keep up the great work
I have a doubt, which one was better for raising babies. 1st method or the 2nd one. First u didn't feed the babies viney eels and infusoria and kept it naturally.
@hariunique391 Easily 2nd method, they did get vinegar eels the 1st time around but the main difference was blthe 1st time they were feeding from what was already growing in the tank naturally and 2nd time I cultured the infusoria which I think helped the survival rate massively in the 1st 3-5 days. They are 17 days old now and there is a good survival rate and rapid growth
@@plantbox60 ohh thanks for the info, I thought 1st method was better. Now I know why they are endangered 🤧
@hariunique391 there could be other factors that I can't prove for sure but the 2nd time for sure I have more babies than I can count!
4:19 u can keep both or all of the betta if put them in a much bigger or longer tank
Normally around this time, the males will be separated in cups. With Larger space they may last longer and depends if what their future plans are for example selling or having their own tank
They did time and time again ☠
great video brother. cheers
Thank you
Nice tank
Bro sounds like he doesn’t want to be recording
Still a fire vid
I was looking forward to it❤
I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO BE A BANGER
2:27 😂😂 idk why that slight zoom in has me dying so bad 😂😂😂😂

300 day ecosystem Betta fish next upload
Oh c'mon, it took 200 days for only 153K views? i'd expect like 1M!!!
You made some beautiful tanks, you should use them in your thumbnails!! Also this is basically a walstad tank, right ?
@shaepake9489 Thank you! I would like to but it doesn't get clicked as much. Yes same as walstad, it's all natural. I do water changes still but not as often
I’ve binge watched all four of your videos. Is there anyway you can name the plants you used in this setup?
Blycxa japonica, java fern, anubias nana, red root floaters, salvania (floating plant), red tiger lotus. There's some that I know the name of.
Thanks for watching!
@@plantbox60 Thanks so much!
This is me dream fish I want to keep them some day so badly ❤
They are the best betta I've kept! Go for it
@@plantbox60 right now I’m just looking for a way to sorce them as my local fish stores have no idea thay exist lol ❤️but i definitely will at some point
Yes keep a look out! It took a few weeks to get macky and the female
Nice video ❤
Thank you
great vid
Awesome video 👍👍
I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO BE A BANGER
W fish
If any males survive to adulthood would you be willing to sell one? (Edit: if you're in the USA) I've wanted a mahachai since I started keeping fish, they're stunning in planted darkwater setups
I'm in the UK sorry but I would of done. I've had a few betta fish and Macky is unlike any of the others
Awesome!
Thanks!
Name one baby FHUKERAT
OMG K 😭
GAGO HAHAHAHAHA
😂😂😂
0:07 AWWWW
ive been awaiting this video 😁
Wow
Finally the goat uploaded.

I enjoyed breeding my betta imbellis
Nice! how did it go?
@plantbox60 good except Ihe male jumped out of the aquarium after a second successful breeding. (I couldnt catch the female out of the Father fish style aquarium. I also didn't have anyone to sell them to. I traded a bunch for some shell dwellers.
@dantheman8112 Did you keep any of the babies and its surprising you couldn't sell any of them on, do you think that just because they aren't known very well?
@plantbox60 I think they aren't as pretty as the fancy splendens and the big hobby keepers probably already had them at some point around here. I kept some and put some in my parents aquarium as well.
Get a big tank and make it land on top and a small pond on the land part leads to a underwater cave under the land
*get a big tank and put land in it and make a small pond in the land that leads to a underwater cave
@cringeseventeen I will do a big tank soon! Was thinking a big ant colony in there too
@@plantbox60 that sounds cool
I plant on breeding a Giant Betta with a Alien female betta then my next breeding will be a male king betta with a female Alien Betta. I’m excited about the King betta with the alien female betta more. Because size comparison they are almost the same size king of lol
The alien betta and King betta will be exciting! I've only seen 1 alien betta in person and similar to the machachi, some of the best colours I've seen
As a fellow fishkeeper, i don't know what to say 😅
subscribeeeed
Thank you
Your betta got swimbladder disorder issue. It’s due to feeding too much.
Bo ah oh wa ah 😂 ha yi po oa
How is Macky doing?
He's recovering well after the breeding
why was it lowkey fish fanfic at the end there
What's fanfic?
so when the baby fish grow up, you plan on releasing some of them back into the wild to introduce new fish that could reproduce and help regrow the population within the area?
If I could make that happen, it would be amazing. Their natural habitat is in Thailand and I'm in the UK. My aim is to keep the line pure with what I have and make it known to help conservation too

dont worry theres plenty of algea left
biofilm does not affect the fish or anything?
It has potential to if really out of hand but it's a natural process of a the ecosystem balancing itself and overtime it begins to clear on its own, doing maintenance can easily control this
One thing u shouldnt do is move the babies with the mother it should stay with the father since the mother will eat the babies
I breed bettas for quite a while now u should have done research before u did that
@@Jctsilence that's good for you. The babies were not moved with the mother at any point...
