- Enlisted has a bit of a bizarre reputation these days for being an endless, boring grind with no substance to the gameplay. But is that really the case or is Enlisted actually a decent game with potential? Today that's exactly what I find out! As a long-time War Thunder player, I booted up Enlisted for the first time in a long while to see what all the noise was about.

I think you may enjoy the pacific campaign, as it has the ability to land on aircraft carriers to repair, as well as taking off from them or the water which is really fun

But you have to grind for a while to get good planes. The hydroplanes are dogshit

@slick9661enlisted does infact have voip, you just need to turn it on in the settings, its off by default.

It's important to be grounded, I have since been lucky enough to receive a couple of packs that I'll be showcasing but mostly will be playing F2P
AI Gunners on the Bomber Fleets are pretty accurate most of the time, but if you sweep in from the right angle and then keep distance, you can take out 1-2 Bombers on the way in and the rest from distance, because the Gunners get inaccurate on long distance. And the point reward for downing 5 Bombers is huge.
I'll bare that in mind going forward! Wish War Thunders AI gunners were that good
I agree it's only been getting better! Also, don't know if you know but I'm unable to look at your channel page when clicking under the video, I have to use your name in the comments. The plan merged update is going to make progression much better, no more unlocking 5 Mp-40s, more info in the devblog/news on the website.

The messerschmitt 109 g10 is perfect for dogfights. It lacks bomb but it has powerful weapons and great maneuveralibity. You should also use your cannons for ground targets and you can destroy rallies with bullets you wont need tnt.
Mate, the MG151 on this G6 is like a BB gun, I've never seen such a vast damage difference between what should be identical aircraft between War Thunder and Enlisted 😂 Let alone the fact the G6 *should* have a 30mm anyway 😅

The progression will be fixed in the next major empty where they rework the game. They dropped the test server for it and it will be released in the next month or so.
I thought myself a good pilot in enlisted, but DAMN, you are amzing!

The 50kg bombs are wicked good, you get two drops, most planes don't even get one drop. They can also destroy jumbos fairly easily, meaning they are viable against pretty much anything armor or flesh based. Honestly that first unlocked bf 109 in Normandy can knock out about 6 American aircraft before needing to reload, but it took me many hours to get to that point of trigger discipline and plane spotting.
Gotta use your ears and always watch the objective for enemy planes doing staffing runs. That's how you know you are about to get own zoned.
if the bots werent headless chickens it might be fun but its just boring slaughtering all these bots xD
Yeah bombers are lethal. They overcompensated a bit when they tweaked them awhile back, because bombers weren't making it to the bomb drop sites and were essentially free exp.
The only attack angle that really works for me is in front of them and high above. The speed and angle make it really difficult for them to land hits before you exit their airspace. You can take out 2 or 3 on some attack runs.

I've been punished for so long in War Thunder that enlisted is actually fun.
As a War Thunder air player, is enlisted any fun nowadays? I've been thinking of trying this game with friends with me in the air and them on the ground, is thr game good for that kind of combined gameplay?
Since the merger update, yes its good fun. Lots of the issues have been ironed out. Combined arms gameplay is good fun, you can even do multi crew for tanks with your friends

I gotta say it, this is the worst gaming experience I have ever played. Everything about it just feels soul-draining and tedious. If you don't pour hundreds of hours into all of the units, on both teams, in all campaigns, the gameplay will suffer tremendously.
The concept is decent, execution is disappointing.
I've played a bit of the test server merge update and it's fixed a lot of those issues to be fair!
if you can, get the G 10, i have that plane, it is good for strafing and dogfight, but the 20mm gun pods do make it turn slowwww. the Fw190A8 is also a beast, 4x 20mm and 2x 13mm, absolutely destroys P-47s and wellingtons with its boom and zoom speed
I'm not too far off the G-10 now I think!
they need to put a south america server, a queue with graphics and sounds configs locked for everone, and have longer fights, like war thunder land the plane in the base reload and take off
You know you can use your Flaps with 1 and 2? And try to kill the tanks with 50Kg bombs. It give you alot of exp

I definitely think the anti air is a lil too powerful in Enlisted. I also don't think they need a lead indicator for planes (they already have the massive advantage of being able to shoot and lead the target when its at its most vulnerable part of any strike) and as an allied pilot I can't speak on the strength of the 50s vs the german 20s really cuz I tend to lose lots of vital plane parts when their 20s hit my tempest (sobsob) lol

I wouldn't think so with 50kg - light targets sure. But 50kg is way too unreliable for tank busting. It'd expect at least a 250kg.
