Some commonly asked questions Ive missed talking about in this video: - ZA Supernova is a bootleg, although it adds a lot of cool new originalities in design and build, making it a new experience. -This comes with a Zoid core, Decals, and a (flimsy) base, but no pilot - The amount of runners are 30+, covering all the letters in the alphabet. Also has a big and heavy box. - Price is around $50-60 USD depending where you are. Happy building!
I didn't have any complaints like yours to say about this kit. I had no fitment issues, the undergoing is fantastic and this kit built up so fast. If I had to go back and build this or my HMM Saber Tiger, I'd build this twice begone touching that again. The Murasame Liger was also great, but I'm definitely going to get the ZA Berserk Furher after this. My only actual complaint is I wish the feet were on ball joints for better articulation.
Apples to oranges. Youre comparing a 2006-2007 model with a 2022 bootleg. The reason why ZA BF/ST builds good is because Kotobukiya's Fury/Sturm is perfect
My main point is not the fit, but the ease of it. I was expecting a similarly smooth & easy build like the Genesis ligers and Koto's Fury, but that just wasnt the case. Again, culprit imo is its sheer volume in parts + most being undergated. Lots of small interior parts could have been better off not being undergated, since the point of undergating is for exterior purposes. Since I build Zoids for reviews, I speed up my pace, and the undergating leaves less room for error. And when you do make an error....oh boy lol. Also, the more ZA makes complex Zoids, the more we'll miss the authentic polycaps Im sure. Overall this just needs patience and accuracy which makes it a more tedious build. The fact that Ive received complaints in my channel from a few users (vs the entire lack of with the Mugen) already is a good indicator
I personally kinda enjoy building this kit, I agree this kit is not for novice builder, kinda surprised for such quality from a third party manufacturer. However, the water decal is really tedious to work on.
3rd party kits are not for nocive builders, it entails more experience... its a given. and i would say its not for younger builders , more suited for mid to veteran builders.
I agree, except it's not necessarily 'a given' when ZA supernova opened with easy builds in the Murasame and Mugen. This channel has many long time Zoids enthusiasts who are new to building and collecting, so info on how different the experience with the Mugen vs the Sturm/BF is important. You'd be surprised a lot still don't know ZA is a bootleg, that's how scarce the information is about Zoids hobbies.
@@omochareviews id say given because 3rd party kits is a mixed bag, some have fitting issues, some needing modifications etc. So a little bit of experience is needed when building, unless the quality of their models are in par with bandai/kotobukiya.
Does it give you the option to put it on the arms? I thought you could do that and also I saw that you could overall omit those knife head and tail parts if need be, is that right? Like a small peg on the head and left over parts for the tail to make it like the old fury
Thanks for the video! Subscribed to see all your zoids content. Where could I get this in the US for best price? I don’t see it anywhere for close to $50-60
pc parts tends to lose overtime, also it could be eaten by ants, having no pc part is really a smart move, also undergated parts are way more easier to clean at it will save you a lot of time cleaning those nub marks, i built a lot of 3rd party kits and so far super nova are one of the easiest ones to build, but maybe pc are better on zoids than gundpla.
I prefer this, but Im sure many would prefer the Death Stinger due to its size. It's just my preference to have zoids in the 1/72 scale. I also like the fact that the ZA Sturm Tyrann feels like a new zoid due to its original features (like the Genobreaker pincer setup + color). The DS feels more gimmicky to me with those new armor flaps
I can't help but notice why these zoid models do not move. The old zoids models that I collected back in the day (late 90s and early 2k) were battery operated and actually do several actions including walking. Do these new models do the same?
The sturm tyrann ZA has a lot more merit because the ZA Berserk Fury isn't that better compared to Kotobukiya - so in terms of getting the most out of your purchase, I would say the ZA Sturm Tyrann
I dont mind to clean nub, before gunpla introduced undergated i sand those marks, but without extra effort if you just sand those marks its leave different colours and become noob marks, thats feel so frustated unless you paint the kit and it will be gone. So for me who like a clean kit, undergate is a plus, and its model kit afterall not figure.

hello, may i ask something? can additional armor from liger zero such as panzer units be put in liger zero x model?
@@Narlaa_16 all liger zero have the same base body. You can mix and match their armors even if you bought the specialized versions of the ligers.
$40-$50 lmaooo just got this today for $150 :')

Pro tip: when building this kind of kit, Tamiya Grease/Silicone Grease is your friend. They will help you on those tight pegs.
wow the box alone is massive compared to my HMM ones..
Had to buy this kit, it looks incredible!..😁

Looking forward CC zoids from super nova
Really hope they make CC zoids kits
I'm huge fan of undergated n no pc style joints, like newer MG in gunpla
Thanks for the review
Just finished building this kit. I have a question, there are some unknown parts included in this kit. Do you know where to put them?
hey can you made a review for BF 03 WAR DRAGON Wing of Freedom ?
One question, can the horn on its head be moved?
No, it can't be moved

What brand of zoid is the original, new to zoids..
@@elmergonzalez1202 takara tomy and hasbro

Im new to zoid building but this us definitely on my wishlist.

I dont think you can. I checked the runners and there are no extra parts for that setup
I did remove the "knife head" part. There are two pegs that can be cut with an exacto knife and a lot of patience (looks way better without that horn)

Could you tell from the box or instructions if they use ABS or PS plastic?

cant wait for mine to arrive

No, these ones are targeted to adults hence they are called model kits vs toys. Theyre intended for display only
Size comparison between Kotobukiya zoids and ZA zoids, which is bigger? Noice review👍🏼
Same 1/72, ZA just looks bulkier
What store did you buy these from mister?
Do they have some kind of website?
suddenly.. i regret not pre ordering this kit
damn
And I thought I was the only one having trouble with assembling both feet. Got some cuts and bruises because of those parts.
Is it me, or the ankles looks a bit loose?
Could it be that extra trimming you did?
The ankles are okay. The trimming I did is at very base of the feet and has no effect on the articulation
The HMM is coming out for a rerun, im gonna change the silver to the gold.
Enjoy naman to buuin. Though it took me 2 weeks to build this type of kit. Hehehe 2 hours during weekdays and 6 hours sat sun hehehe
Took me longer as i panel lined mine.
need your help fellow builders, i can only buy one lol, sturm tyran or berserk fuhrer?
The sturm tyrann ZA has a lot more merit because the ZA Berserk Fury isn't that better compared to Kotobukiya - so in terms of getting the most out of your purchase, I would say the ZA Sturm Tyrann
@@omochareviews thanks man 🖤🖤🖤
Both
Fuhrer is around 30-35$ and this is 50-60$
If you have the geno ritter the plastic of its blades are pretty similar to the material used in these super nova kits.
Good comparison, Geno Ritter has really good aesthetics too like the ZA zoids
Great review. The build on the Mugen is definitely way better than this.
.....i need mugen. thanks for reminding me
No way! Polycaps are the worst! They wore off over time.
This or Sturm Tyran already have za deathstinger and hmm bezerk
How much did you pay?
55 USD
