- Merry Christmas everyone! Today is our last Zoids review of the year and it's no other than the Genobreaker Repackage, probably one of the best Christmas presents to any Zoids fan out there!
Correction: You get the Raven figure not the Van figure for the Raven version! Also this thing sells for around 90 USD in Japan.

Glad that you're doing these Zoids reviews bro! :). Zoids kits have not gained so much traction except for some Zoids Wild kit reviews. These bring back memories and more importantly the designs were lit. I do hope that Tomy Takara will make a new war themed series for Zoids using the designs from the 90's and 2000's. I really miss these mechs on TV.
The box art for the Geno Breaker repackage actually depicts the short alliance between two dueling pilots. They both decided to stop the rogue Death Stinger from causing more destruction. The Blade Liger and its pilot died in the process, then the Geno Breaker took one of the blades of the Blade Liger then impaled it on the Death Stinger’s head.

Yeah, have to agree that some armor pieces are loose, mostly the leg parts for me and slight balance act I have to do with the back foot stabilizers
The music is too loud. It drowns out your voice. The mix should be 65% voiceover, 35% music.
All of the genosaurers I’ve built I’ve used some plastic glue on non moving pieces. Makes a world of difference in terms of holding together, but I don’t have a HMM kit that doesn’t want to shed parts regularly if you handle it.
When I put mine together when I was done and posing it the torso grenaded. Took the arms, legs, head and tail off, partially took apart the torso and ended up spending an hour supergluing several parts together.
It’s not a hard build. But like the shield and blade liger it requires a decent amount of gluing, and like the ligers especially in the torso.

Is shadow inside the kit
i glued the armor plating on tail and the white bracket the weapon pack connects to plus my tail was nice and stiff until lately im guessing the pin has slipped out slightly

Update: I just started it and already messed up the eyes. The clear piece wont stick properly. 😢😢😢

try sanding the nubs to remove them completely

Could you put the pulse laser rifle from the geno saurer on the breaker if you take off the boosters? Basically a red geno saurer right?

damn dude im so torn i cant decide if i want to buy this or berserk fuhrer. both are in my cart right now on amazon. my gut is saying BF but i think the GB looks just a little cooler. if i got the BF id have to grab the update kit for it. which at that point the shield claws are almost the same as the GB lol

This geno breaker finally made better im happy ive got my one :) .but im trying to get a geno sear really want one I really didn't know it was coming at the start of the year the price for them gone up a bit on ebay and I think sold out every where we they make another geno saurer? Thanks
If it's sold out on retail, might wanna try Facebook and check the resellers there :) Shouldnt cost you more than 150 USD

Build-wise the repackage is better. Only benefit of the Raven are the figures and the bragging rights that you have the rare variant lol

Is there a fix for the tail piece that pops off, when you open the tail vents?
Man... You really have to drop "as you can see" and "basically" out of your vocabulary
After putting it together I was posing it and the torso grenaded. It grenaded worse than my Shield Liger DVS-J. Had to take it apart, partially dissemble the torso and superglued several parts together.
Also very back heavy.

I had the Raven version with Shadow. Even painted Raven.
UGH. Should've taken care of them.
EDIT: Oh there was a reissue of that where Raven is already painted. But Shadow doesn't come with the spread wings attachment.
The geno breaker is so bad ass. My geno saurer rep ver got his tail loose just like yours. The reason is the pin that connects the body section with the tail section does not fit all the way in. I fixed the pin and the tail section is solid now. Hope this help :)
For this price tag I think it's too flimsy, manufacturer could've made the design less flimsy.
Is the color red of this repackage ver similar to the raven ver? For me, it seems to be a duller shade of red, not quite sure though.
It's the same, it could be just the lighting

If you're saying plastic in the sense of material and color injection, it's the same. However for repackages they changed some of the parts' mold to enhance its fittings

So does this version come with Raven and Shadow? It comes with decals for Raven so it would be strange if he wasn't included but I can't find any clear confirmation.
All marking plus and repackage versions do not come with any anime figures. You can find all the differences from the Raven ver. in the opening minute of the vid.
The first segment of the tail is also loose, had to super glue the connector on that one.
Mine's secure. There's a good chance you got the pegs mixed up. They are confusing as each peg is different for each segment of the tail.
Had the same problem as well with that tail segment. Superglue did the trick.
Been waiting for your review before building mine, gonna be my first HMM. I still have my OG Tomy Geno Breaker too, so I'll pose them together.
