Vinoly's 'master plan' is building a series of curved buildings across the world angled so that when they all align perfectly into the sky at the right time with the moon in the proper position, the death rays come together at a single point and create a temperature hot enough to vaporize the moon

This not even an exaggeration if you went to 7:51 Le Four solaire d'Odeillo in France is what would happen to you and it was built in 1962 and still producing power.
Look Viñoli. If you really want that parabolic curved esthetic on your death ray buildings, make sure to direct the concave part away from the Sun so no light can converge from any angle. Like north, if built in the northern hemisphere. The fact that a death ray building was designed and built facing the sun not once, but twice from the same architect! Almost feels like it was done on purpose.
Or, better still, choose a focal point where you have a reservoir instead of cars or sunbathers. That way you might be able to harness the solar energy, like that awesome French building.

We have this issue in Phoenix, AZ. It’s not uncommon for homeowner’s to have burn marks in their turf from the sun’s rays reflecting off a neighbor’s windows.
