It's weird seeing Vader just.. casually doing.. like.. normal leader stuff like just dishing out orders and not just immediately killing those under him for failing
I think think the reason Vader has so little tolerance is because he is so used to the efficiency of the clones as he also saves Rex later in the series
@@fly672 Kallus kicked a trooper to his death in the first episode. I think he was not meant to turn around till later in the series and so he was just another monster in uniform till then.
What was the best of this is how tua was way more scared of Tarking than of Vader... that shows that Tarkin was probably way more fearsome and brutal than Vader himself...
Remember Tarkin didn't like Aliens, He disliked the Jedi, and whatever that opposed his Ally ( Sidious ), he would make sure it wouldn't be a nuisance.
actually screen evidence seems to sugest otherwise.. that Vader was not that big an asshole as it seems and only seems to "punish" very high ranking officers who fail him.. it even seems like he is a quite cordial and very reasonable with troops and lower rank officers (like Veers). Considering how Vader actually used to get his hands and feet dirty in the battlefield while higher rank offcers stayed away safe i can see troops and lower ranking officers respecting Vader more than their high superiors.. and also Vader usually gets the job done
I dare say that Vader would also respect higher ranking officers that would join their troops in battle. Veers was an Army General and equal to a Navy Admiral, when commanding ground forces. Although such officers were indeed very rare in the Empire.
I just love Vader in this series, we see all these imperials working for the empire trying to crush these rebels, and in comes Vader, and just shows how dominant he is compared to the other imperials. He is just so menacing
I love how Vader momentarily reaches out his hand and for a moment one would think he's about to choke Maketh Tua, but instead of that he sends her to Tarkhin instead and it's somehow worse.
Fun fact and SPOILER for later: Vader orders Minister Tua killed for failing to catch the rebels on Lothal despite her claims that she's doing everything in her power to track them down. Brutal in typical Sith Lord manner... but once properly motivated by the fear of death Tua is able to get in contact with the rebels within just several hours, which proves she was ignoring valuable information sources like known rebel supporters and contacts. Vader is cruel, no doubt about it, but in his mind no needlessly cruel towards idiots and losers, completely useless on their own, seeing some minions more valuable dead than alive.
I find it funny that it shows his tunic over his breast plate, which we saw in A New Hope, which was first seen as a design flaw, and since he wore it under his breast plate.
I like how this shows the different levels of fear Tua has for her superiors. When it comes to Kallus, she shows no fear, no holding back on her frustration, as she doesn’t really respect or care about him. With Vader, she shows a lot more restraint, but still manages to hold her ground and treats him more with respect than outright fear (probably because she doesn’t truly fathom what Vader is capable of). However, the moment Tarkin is even mentioned, she immediately crumbles. No bravado, no hiding, she is outright terrified, because she definitely knows what Tarkin can and would do in regards to her own incompetence. It’s all in the small details that make these scenes so memorable
If he did, they wouldn't know what to do with or how to handle him. They used him exactly the right amount considering their limitations, no more and no less.
It really is crazy to see such a vast difference between Anakin and Vader. The Jedi was compassionate, understanding, and Merciful. When Vader is Brutal, Apathetic , and inhuman. Such Stark contrasts, what a tragedy.

1:15 I'm sure she remembers what happened to Aresko and Grint
It's weird seeing Vader just.. casually doing.. like.. normal leader stuff like just dishing out orders and not just immediately killing those under him for failing
Well he has plans for her...
To think Tarkin called dibs.
His helmet and cape are so shiny! 😻
Minister Tua is such a hawk.
Hawk Tua
I'm glad they got James Earl Jones to reprise his role as Darth Vader in this series.
Anyone else realize that Vader told her exactly how he will draw the rebels out by sending her to Tarkin?
It's hard to believe that this is the same person as the little arrogant boy of Episode II..
Let's be honest, vader and palpatine whenever on rebels brought the quality up while they were on screen
The lines from Rebels Vader honestly sounds like something Anakin would say…
The chills that ran down my fucking spine in this scene, man. When Vader says "No, but I want you to burn it." Holy shit.
The Dialogue is PERFECT for Vader, Spot on.
Maketh Tua. Any relation to Hawk Tuah?
Get out of here with that daft language
@@apocalypticsurvivor6111I’ve seen you before
Maketh "Hawk" Tua
Ah, don't worry everyone. This is Vader just being friendly.
Vader is the type of guy who would choke you for putting too much sugar in his coffee.
I think think the reason Vader has so little tolerance is because he is so used to the efficiency of the clones as he also saves Rex later in the series
i feel like JEJ's voice sounds better here than in Rogue one.
Kallus does not seem to have any problem with Vader's ruthless tactics here. Which is interesting considering season 3 plot developments.
Yeah, Vader orders to burn refugee camp, But Kallus doesn't have any problems with that
@@fly672 Kallus kicked a trooper to his death in the first episode. I think he was not meant to turn around till later in the series and so he was just another monster in uniform till then.
1:21 - That's a cue to write your Last Will and Testament.
Vader didnt even force choke her for being sassy with “youre asking the impossible!”. What a gentleman!
Handsome Agent Kallus...with those gorgeous eyes :P
His beard is quite stylish too.
I dislike him
Charaykee, have you watched the ENTIRE show?
Because I get the feeling you haven't...
Omg same I love Agent hot- I mean Agent Kallus!
His last name is WHAT
What was the best of this is how tua was way more scared of Tarking than of Vader... that shows that Tarkin was probably way more fearsome and brutal than Vader himself...
well she DID saw the Inquisitor cutting the heads of two commanders for failure on tarkin 's order!
Remember Tarkin didn't like Aliens, He disliked the Jedi, and whatever that opposed his Ally ( Sidious ), he would make sure it wouldn't be a nuisance.
I think this was before Vader decided to choke everyone who failed him
actually screen evidence seems to sugest otherwise..
that Vader was not that big an asshole as it seems and only seems to "punish" very high ranking officers who fail him.. it even seems like he is a quite cordial and very reasonable with troops and lower rank officers (like Veers).
R.I.P. to James Earl Jones.
Vader's voice in star wars rebels is AMAZING
i wish he had more dialogue
That is because its James Earl Jones himself voicing Vader. Yes the same guy who voiced Vader in the OT...
@@dboymax1 ik
I’m glad James Earl Jones was able to voice Vader in Rebels.
It's a shame rebels didn't last longer. If for no other reason than to see the OT through the eyes of the ghost crew, and get more animated Vader.
Crazy to think even til this day. That’s lil ol ani in the Vader suit. He became so ruthless
That James Earl Jones voice got me childhood feels
She was too cute for this world.
And that's why Vader blew her up. The cuteness needed to be purged.

Fun fact and SPOILER for later:
Vader orders Minister Tua killed for failing to catch the rebels on Lothal despite her claims that she's doing everything in her power to track them down.
Man, Lord Vader appeared like Batman.
Vader in the show was amazing, I wish he had more screen time.
If he did, they wouldn't know what to do with or how to handle him. They used him exactly the right amount considering their limitations, no more and no less.
God. You have to love watching Vader in rebels and remember Anakin in Clone Wars, how far he has fallen
Poor Tua
Vader shows up out of nowhere and glides out the room like the grim reaper.
Minister Maketh Tuah
Bro 💀
I like how Vader's breathing device stops for a moment, almost like it's him holding a breath.
It really is crazy to see such a vast difference between Anakin and Vader. The Jedi was compassionate, understanding, and Merciful. When Vader is Brutal, Apathetic , and inhuman. Such Stark contrasts, what a tragedy.
Agreed. If this was Anakin and some Republic official proposed the idea of burning a refugee camp to flush out Separatists, he'd have been an inch from knocking the guy out with his prosthetic hand.
This is a kid's show? My inner child is pleased!
