    Great work! Lots of detail.
    I like the layout of the maps, clean and the spacing between buildings makes them easy to read. One idea... lean even more heavily into the pastel colors of the 30s-50s making them bolder with deeper shadows and giving some color to the opposite page. I like the larger buildings (with labels, no border, no sepia). I really like that atlas book and how each page is a sub-section of NYC and could be 1 case and maybe a little bleed to others. I can see a ton of work went into this and hope it does well.

    45:00 As a graphic designer of over 25 years and artist for, well let's just say much longer than that, I think my choice would be the smallest buildings in simple black and white with the white stroke around them but no shadow and with the labels. Just my personal taste though. Your artists are doing fantastic work and the volume of work that has gone into this is impressive! I can't wait to play it! : )

      Thank you Rozmere. Like most things the pros are the ones with restraint who say to keep it simple, elegant and understated. It's good advice if we can take it :) The encouragement is worth it's weight in gold. -jesse

      @@COOPFORTWO I second @Rozmere 's input to keep the colors simple and understaded. However, I would like to piggyback on this reply and expertise to propose an idea about the size: would it be an idea to scale up some of the more historical/cultural important buildings (e.g. the Empire State Building), to give them 'more weight', more prominence? For me - and probably for a lot of us - playing these narrative mystery games is all about the immersion through the setting and the mood of the era. As a European, I look at the Empire State Building or Chrysler Building as unique landmarks, which symbolize the historical shift in power on a world stage. It's the embodyment of the 'high & low' title and theme, so why not reflect this on the map? Just an idea, curious to hear your thoughts!
      This game looks so awesome! Great idea to dail up the uniqueness of every district. I've been hoping for this specific game to come along for some time now, so thank you, I can't wait to play it!

      ​@@tibsontibson I agree with this idea. One of the things Logan is going to try to figure out is how to get the skyscrapers to look "tall" without interfering with readability of the map. I completely agree that ideally we can capture not just the look of any one particular building, but somehow convey the architectural uniqueness of neighborhoods and convey the significance of their architecture to history. To me, a huge part of new york is the architecture. Reminder that we're always looking for help if anyone wants to join the project to help! -jesse

    Pausing at 11:31 to make some quick-ish feedback. I know I just started the video but I feel I should say something. First off, the reason I hope my opinion will be at least a tiny bit relevant is because I love mystery boxed games, I collect and play as many as I can. I've always enjoyed games that are more in depth than simple mechanics and I grew up playing and DMing D&D (beginning in the 80s) and other role playing games. And, I'm currently working on my own mystery boxed game series (when I can find the time). Now, the thing I wanted to mention right away is my first impression about the name. I understand it's based on noir film, but when I first saw the title "High & Low" I thought, "Oh, I'm in the wrong place, this is just going to be some simple Uno-type card game and it just has a mystery theme that probably doesn't go much further than the artwork (which looks great by the way)". I know at this point that your game actually looks like the kind I'll really enjoy playing but it was that first impression that made me skeptical that it was even a real mystery game. That's all, just an opinion, take it or leave it.

      Appreciate the feedback on the name -- you are touching on one of the motivations for giving it a fuller more descriptive name, which is that High & Low does sound like an old school simple card game of some sort. ps. Feel free to tell us about your game project!
