Lopunny had Entrainment. Shedinja learned it from Lopunny by using Mimic as it passed Klutz to Toxapex. Shedinja also had a Focus Sash to hold onto for a turn-- long enough to pass Wonder Guard to Growlithe before it was KO'd. Growlithe used Burn Up, making it Typeless and thus immune to _all_ attacks. Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
Plot Twist: Shedinja can't learn Mimic anymore. The only way, according to Bulbapedia, to get a Shedinja with Mimic is to take him to the tutor in Gen 3 (FR, LG, E, XD) and then transfer him all the way out to Gen 9! With Pokemon Bank no longer in service, it's impossible to get one now. Pimpnite scored a rare pokemon here!

@@ab14967 Maybe willowisp gets use in Doubles, or perish trapping can also be used. Toxic isn't common on Doubles. And since no moves hit it(apart from Mold Breaker-effect moves(gmax moves from the Galar starters, and some other ones, and Mold Breaker itself) random poison or burn isn't a factor. And you can have Rest for poison anyway, Burn Up and then 2 other attacking moves.

It's hard to pull it off once enemy know the strategy BUT it might be fun to use this in ranked. Maybe with Arcanine though. Fun fact: Arcanine line is the only mono fire type with access to Burn Up. The other ones are Carkol and Coalossal (no Rolycoly) and Sizzlipede/Centiskorch but they would become pure rock or pure bug respectively after a Burn Up.
You can't use this in Ranked because the only legal way to get Mimic Shedinja is from transfer from Gen 3, and you have to delete the moveset in order to use transfers in Ranked.
I'll be honest when I say I didnt know it existed until gen 8. Didnt raise a Typhlosion line in sun and moon, nor a Hooh/Moltres. Only learned when I took an Arcanine to the Move Tutor in sword. Also didnt raise the Coal or Centipede things

Most tasks like that in video games are a waste of time. Kinda why games I am addicted to make me depressed. I realise how much time I have wasted existing as a consumer of products. Started more productive and educational hobbies now where skills and knowledge of the real world are acquired. I used to use the 'if it makes me happy then it's not a waste of time' excuse but it was just a far reaching cope.

I just read in the comments above that it does, and if that's the case, the fact he spent his time hammering into the Klefki when Cinderace was G-Maxed means he REALLY threw the game. By the time he realized there are moves that do that, IE, Dusk Mane Necrozma's Sunsteel Strike, Blastoise was already on the field using Follow Me.

It's essentially counterfeiting if I had to make a proper comparison. You devalue a shiny that took actual time and effort to find and work for by farting one out from an illegitimate site that may or may not even be recognized by GameFreak's systems that they update around every gen to keep people from genning and cheating. If you don't have time to hunt and train and work for shinies then you don't have time to play the game at all. If you just wanna battle just play Showdown.

I never thought about using mimic and entrainment to give a solo fire with burn up wonder guard.
I just realized that Necrozma was a potential counter. Sunsteel strike ignores abilities, so it could have hit Growlithe.
Same with g-max fireball. Ironically he was trying to attack the Klefki instead lmao. His Blastoise was using follow me while the Necrozma was up though so he was forced to attack the blastoise before Growlithe obliterated him.
4:32 - Love the fact that he uses GMax Cinderace (which is usually less powerful than regular Dynamax since putting the sun is much more valuable in the current metagame than hitting the rare Flash Fire Pokémon with Fire-type moves), and didn't even attack the Growlithe on the first two turns (he would have probably fainted since it was normal effectiveness + Cinderace hits like a truck. xD )
Hacked Shiny G-Max Cinderace is the trade trash of Surprise Trade, the genning sites keep sending them as advertisements without realizing that most G-Max Moves that replace Weather-setting moves are garbage, the most common truly insulting specimens being the flood of Hacked Shiny G-Max *SOLAR POWER CHARIZARDS THAT CAN'T SET THEIR OWN SUN.*

I cant believe they just decided to use moves that they USED REPEATEDLY AND NEVER WORKED instead of just G-Max Fireballing the Growlithe. What a fool.

The dude had 3 ways of winning too:
- Could have used Toxic the second Safeguard wore off
- GMax Fireball ignores abilities
- Sunsteel Strike ignores abilities
But instead he got sidetracked by a damn Klefki and didn’t have the foresight to notice that Blastoise is going to use Follow Me until you kill it and stop spamming fire moves, then didn’t think to use Toxapex to poison it until the exact turn Milotic Safeguarded. And the whole time he flaunts his genned Pokemon (including an illegal Cinderace and Necrozma), claiming he isn’t a hacker, then accusing a completely legit strategy of using hacks.
This guy takes the dumbass cake.
He also had the chance to go for the shedinja kill right at the start instead of setting up swords dance. The sash wouldve progged but at least one of the two hits youll need to kill wouldve been done allready and pimp wouldve struggled heavily to even get No guard on growlith. As soon as you see a team like pimps you should know that theres something fishy eventhough pimp acted like a noob so this dude would fight him.
This Kid was so new to the Game that he didnt knew that there is a huge part of the Community who doesnt play competetive to win with a Meta Team but loves to make "Bad" things work and does trolls like this.
Pimpnite jiggled some keys in front of the kids face and his brain went to mush.
he literally said something along the lines of "it's allowed online so it's fine" as a defense for his hacked mons, then proceeds to use hacker as an insult when he lost the battle and couldn't believe that Burn Out was a move that existed.
This is by far the funniest sweep I’ve seen to date. The salt was brilliant 🤣

@@ab14967 Maybe willowisp gets use in Doubles, or perish trapping can also be used. Toxic isn't common on Doubles. And since no moves hit it(apart from Mold Breaker-effect moves(gmax moves from the Galar starters, and some other ones, and Mold Breaker itself) random poison or burn isn't a factor. And you can have Rest for poison anyway, Burn Up and then 2 other attacking moves.

It's hard to pull it off once enemy know the strategy BUT it might be fun to use this in ranked. Maybe with Arcanine though.
Fun fact: Arcanine line is the only mono fire type with access to Burn Up. The other ones are Carkol and Coalossal (no Rolycoly) and Sizzlipede/Centiskorch but they would become pure rock or pure bug respectively after a Burn Up.
You can't use this in Ranked because the only legal way to get Mimic Shedinja is from transfer from Gen 3, and you have to delete the moveset in order to use transfers in Ranked.

I'll be honest when I say I didnt know it existed until gen 8. Didnt raise a Typhlosion line in sun and moon, nor a Hooh/Moltres. Only learned when I took an Arcanine to the Move Tutor in sword. Also didnt raise the Coal or Centipede things
